So crashes have been becoming more frequent on official campaigns, especially Death Toll, however I'm able to host on Dark Wood just fine with no crashes, and those maps are huge with plenty of custom models n such. So I'm really wonder how I can decrease the amount of engine crashes I encounter.

Is it a workshop issue, is it something that I need to install? I just need to understand some probable causes so I can fix this.
