I'll try to suggest some features first without writing a wall of text explaining things, then i'll explain what is actually going on.
Is it possible that the software also extracts the info for each planet and when the planet name is searched it could be shown in text form?
Things like pop, crime, unemployment, districts, blockers etc.
IS it possible that you add untapped resources for each system in the event viewer? Currently the system's pllanets and hyperlanes are shown which is super useful.
More explanation:
Me and a friend who are both blind and can't see the screen are trying to play stellaris with the help of screen reading software, optical character recognition to read the tooltips and a screen reader add on that let's us to bookmark mouse position on screen for icons.
with the help of a modder who's trying to help us with accessibility features, we're almost able to completely play the game.
Right now your mod is amazing for us because we can now see in text that which empire is doing what without having to go over the map and check. Now we can read the hyperlanes and understand which systems are connected to which ones. The event viewer is a god sent.
The reason for the first feature that i suggested is because the planet window is filled with icons and i have saved something about 30-40 mouse positions for this window. If i want to know about my planet's housing, I have to open up the bookmark's list, find the item 'planet st housing' press enter on it, perform OCR on the screen, and read the tooltip. It does seem fine for now but i only control two planets at the moment, It does seem tedious if i controled over 10 planets, I think.
It would be super awesome if you were willing to implement some features to help us
