Only one follower, but two? but one.

Basically when I try to add another follower (second) he/she agree's, but the other follower leaves.

It sounds like the mod didn't take hold, as that's the defaut game behavior. I'd try removing, then reinstalling.

Try putting the mod at the bottom of the load order. That helped me retain a couple more followers. Not completely working, but it helps.
