Suggestions for new events!
Post all suggestions for new events here! I will read all of them and implement ones I like the sound of or ones that are very popular.

How about an event that calls out a KOS on a random innocent and sets a new role for them. 50% Traitor, 50% Jester.

Imagine the confusion it could cause for both sides. The Traitors unsure whether to protect the person to secure a new ally, or kill them to try to play innocent.

I have no idea what is and isn't possible... but here we go.

Just fun doesn't really change how you play massively.

"I call them Pym Particles"
Everyone's size is randomly altered every 30 seconds. I'm thinking from 30% to 150%. Top-end may need reducing a bit otherwise peeps may get stuck in low-ceilings.

"Repulsion Gel"

Everyone becomes super bouncy, jumps are 100% higher but when you land you bounce two more times, once at 75% normal jump and then at 30%.

"Evil Twin"
Everyone alive gets an NPC spawned with their player model that is hostile to everyone.

"Let it go"
Sjin wins.
Nah. Two people randomly get the freeze gun. Similar to the Mr Freeze event in a way, but can be used more nefariously.

"Half Life 3 Confirmed"
Two head crabs spawn at everyone's feet.

"Maniacal Laughter" - No text if possible, just audio of insane scientist.
An innocent gets access to the traitor buy menu and 2 credits, but the traitors also get whatever the special innocent buys.
Double-edged sword, traitors can pretend they were the one given this, but the innocent who did could buy crap overwriting whatever the traitors did buy.

Changes Play

"Chicken"
When you and another player lock eyes, the first to look away dies and the kill goes to the victor. Sort of like weeping angel... but with another player.
Jesters will immediately look away to become the other role whereas two innocents have to work together to stay alive. Doesn't effect karma.

"Hilarity Ensues"
Jester explodes if killed by a traitor then revives. Additionally turns an innocent into jester if none are alive.
Only punishment traitors get for a jester kill is generally being revealed as a traitor, this merely adds a little extra to that and almost guarantees their reveal. Conversely, traitors can also use to their advantage if they suspect someone is the middle of a crowd is a jester... boom.

"Never know what hit 'em"
One terrorist becomes cloaked until they fire. Kills reset the cloak.
Not a massive gamechanger, but allows the traitor to do a little covert work and means that one shot really has to count as it will reveal them almost immediately if they weren't already seen cloaking.

"Fight or Flight"
Upon being damaged, you have 5 seconds to hit back otherwise you get thrown into the air.
Increases panic shooting for retaliations and should hopefully make people think twice about shooting as retaliation is almost guaranteed.

"Possession is nine-tenths of the law"
Everyone is merged. Two people, one body. One controls movement, the other controls the equipment.
Probably end up being frustrating but I imagine when it triggers on smaller games between friends it would be amusing. Public servers... probably not.

"Look at me, I'm the captain now"
Reverse-jester. If a detective kills an innocent, they die and the innocent is reborn as a detective.

"The floor is lava"
All ground surfaces at the default y axis, or the default for that map if possible, are harmful.

Shorten/Lengthen Game

"The Long Game"
Traitors & detectives gain +5 max health every 10 seconds to a maximum of + 150.
Prolongs game.

"Black Plague"
Everyone loses 3 health every 5 seconds.
Shortens game.

"Phoenix Down"
Someone who wasn't killed by a traitor is revived. Random, so could be also traitor.
Prolongs game.

"Revival of the Fittest"
Innocent with most kills becomes a phoenix.
Prolongs game.

"Global Warming"
Water creeps up from the bottom of the map. Those on lower floors in enclosed environments need to get out and to higher ground!
Shortens game.

Oh man, there's a lot to get through here. I like some of the ideas, and honestly they all seem possible to do. Thanks for the suggestions though, much appreciated! Always nice to get fresh ideas. ^:D

Suggestions! Just some basic stuff.

More Dakka!: All guns gain double fire rate and double magazine size.

CHAOS! CHAOS! (or alternatively, I've Made A H.U.G.E. Mistake...): Everyone gets an Ares Shrike (or a H.U.G.E.).

FI-YAH!: All fires last forever - one incendiary grenade, permanent area denial.

Don't Go In The Water...: Water becomes harmful, ten damage a second.

Not Again...: All scopes become pink-and-black texture boxes.

Power to the People!: All guns get a random upgrade, between x2 fire rate, x1.5 damage, x2 reserve ammo (ammo you carry when it's not in your gun) and x2 reload speed.

Turret Time!: All innocents become locked in place, only able to look around (or not), fire and reload their guns, but gain infinite ammo. Traitors and detectives move normally.

Don't Taser Me, My Brother: All guns act like Tasers - whether that means the one-shot Zeus or the "practically no damage but makes it impossible to aim" Taser is up to you or is randomly chosen by the randomat.

King Me!: The detective (or if the detective is dead, a random innocent, who also becomes a detective with no credits) gains double health and moves x1.5 as fast, but can only use the crowbar, and traitors instantly win if they kill them. However, if the detective dies another way, then play continues normally.

Predator: Everyone is invisible until they shoot, take damage or after 1 minute.

I Ain't Got Time To Bleed: All weapons cause a bleeding effect (deal small damage over time for a short time) when they hit someone.

Assassins: Everyone has a target. They kill their target, their team wins.

Rain Men: Everyone can see their exact health and ammo count of each other.

SymmeTTTry (or just Symmetry): The amount of people per role is eqaulized, rounding to traitors. If there are 10 people, 3 become detectives, 3 become innocents and 4 become traitors. Detectives and traitors are prioritized by the randomat to stay as their current role.

'Nade Out!: Infinite grenades!

It's Raining 'Nades!: Every player gets a random, live grenade spawned above their head.

One In The Chamber: All guns gain a clip size of one and insta-kill on hit. Gain a bullet for every kill, by gun or crowbar.

Walk Like...: Changes player movement depending on the selection.
-A Bishop: Can't move in the cardinal directions; only NW, SW, NE and SE.
-An Egyptian: Can only move in the cardinal directions.
-A Speedrunner: Constantly bunnyhop (b-hop).
-A Roadrunner: Stop for 2 seconds after every direction change, but move x2 as fast in that direction.

Tonka Tough!: Body armor for everyone!

What The Health?: Max health reduced to 50.

Too AWP, Pls Nerf: All players get AWPs (instant kill a la CS:GO optional).

Cowboy Up: All weapons are replaced by revolvers and WInchesters.

You Gotta...(alternatively, You Gotta Shoot 'Em In The Head): Instakill headshots, halved damage everywhere else.

The Floor Is...Ice: The ground is slippery!

Time Lords: Time randomly slows down or speeds up every 15 seconds.

So Cool!: Time slows down during explosions.

BOSS BATTLE!: One player becomes their own team. They get 300 health. They win when everyone else is dead. If someone kills them, their team wins.

K.O.!: Knockback is increased on guns. Knockback is increased even more for crowbars and pushes.

This Mortal Recoil: Firing a gun physically pushes you back. Fire fast enough - flight. Basically makes the H.U.G.E. a jetpack.

Finish Him!: When someone is killed, they will revive in 20 seconds at half health if their corpse is not hit with a crowbar.

The Walking Alive: Movement speed reduced to 75%.

The Walking Dead: When killed, players can move and look around as if they were still alive, but can't chat or use any weapons. They still count as dead.

Wrecking Crew: Doors no longer work, but can be broken.

Gr8 Cr8s M8: Crates spawn around each player, like the Barrel Blast.

Peace Shields: While holstered, a shield is projected in front of the player, like the Improvised Shield Gun.

Rest In Pieces: When killed, bodies explode into ludicrous gibs. No revives for you!

Pinball People: When players make contact (ex. bumping into each other) they rocket backwards like a pinball. Wheeeee!

Richochet: When bullets hit ANYTHING (walls, objects, people) they deal damage, but also bounce off of them and potentially deal damage again, like metal objects.

I'm Still Confused - What Gamemode Is This?: Traitors get prop disguisers with infinite time, and win if the time runs out, but only have crowbars.

Funeral Pyre: Dead bodies drop incendiary grenades.

RAINBOW!: EVERYONE becomes a special role - Traitor, Jester, Detective, SK, Phoenix, Survivalist, Infected, etc. People who are a special role already stay their role.

Microtransactions - All weapons are removed from inventories and the map. However, everyone gains access to a buy menu with normal weapons (M16s, Glocks, etc.) as well as more expensive traitor/detective items (Taser, PHD Flopper, C4). What's it gonna be - a Shotgun, or a Health Station?

Hunting Props - Props deal massive damage when they strike a player with enough speed. Magneto-sticks are now the most lethal items in the game.

...That's lame. - Absolutely nothing happens.

(Player) is looking *kinda* suspicious... - That player stays the same role. That's it.

Identity Theft - Usernames and skins are swapped between two different players. They are unaware of this change from their perspective.

Ghostly Glow - Dead spectators are visible to alive players. Guidance from beyond the grave!

Don't Stop Moving - If a player stops moving, they take small amounts of damage over time until they start moving again. Defibs are risky business.

Parasite Fight - Every 30 seconds, a player will be selected to empty their weapon's clip by firing it.

Contagious Morality - If a player kills another player, they revive as a member of their team, i.e. an Innocent kills a Traitor, the Traitor becomes an Innocent.

Variant Contagious Morality (if above is unbalanced) - If a player kills another player WITH A CROWBAR, they revive as a member of their team, i.e. an Innocent kills a Traitor VIA CROWBAR, the Traitor becomes an Innocent.

Wacky Races - The first player to reach the spawn point of the map wins for their team. If multiple people are in the spawn when the randomat happens, then the opposing players must leave or be killed until only one role is present in the zone.

Wrong Genre Altogether - A large sphere envelops the map, and slowly shrinks over time. Being outside the sphere damages you over time.

Cannon Fodder - Innocents lose all weapons...except for a Jihad Bomb. Traitors and Detectives are unaffected.

Choose Your Class!: Detectives are randomly assigned a "class" which changes their equipment selection and credit count. The classes are as follows:
Warrior: Only offensive Detective items (Homerun Bat, Taser, Dragon Elites, etc.) can be purchased. Sets their credit total to 2.
Cleric: Only defensive/healing Detective items (Improvised Shield Gun, Health Station, PHD Flopper, etc.) can be purchased. Grants an additional 2 credits.
Tactician: Only utility Detective items (Defuser, Handcuffs, Visualizer, etc.) can be purchased. Grants an additional credit.
Dark Knight: Can buy offensive Traitor items (Harpoons, Weeping Angels, C4, etc.) exclusively. Sets credit total to 2.
Unholy Priest: Can buy defensive/healing Traitor items (Defib, Medkit, etc.) exclusively. Grants an additional 2 credits.
Roguish Trickster: Can buy utility Traitor items (Flare Gun, Jet Pack, Teleporter, etc.) exclusively. Grants an additional credit.

You Can Ghost Now!: Dead chat is visible to all players.

Probably late to the party but just a few simple ideas that could work... Maybe.

G-switch- Gravity is tipped on it's head (reversed). You would have to find if the map has a roof or not though or it might break things or drop people on an empty skybox but it just sounded cool to me.

Sniper Shootout- Everyone is locked into a sniper and can't swap weapons

I have you in my sights- All weapons are zoomed in always

Robbed- People have a random weapon (Or random amount of weapons up to 3) removed from their inventory (excluding things like crowbar)

Ammo shortage- All weapons (except maybe bought ones) are emptied of their ammo

EARTHQUAKE!!- The screen shakes making it hard to aim

SUPERHOT- Bullet speed is 50% slower (If that's even a thing)

Movement impossible- Muddle up W A S D keys

BOOM! Headshot!- Every (hit) shot is a headshot

Outbreak- Spawns actual zombie swarms on the map (fighting off zombies and traitors)

And I know that you probably have a lot of things on RN (talking directly to Dem if ever sees this comment), and I know how much effort it would be to add peoples ideas but this is an AMAZING mod for TTT and I think (only assume) that me and 95% of the community would REALLY appreciate a new update incorporating some user ideas and even your own

"Always Two there are" - spawns 2 events with complementing or opposite effects such as can't stop won't stop and don't blink or *insert mr freeze quote* and Not the Bees (assuming the bees don't freeze too), there are probably potential for more like combining some of the explosion effects

"knee deep in the Dead" or "John Romero is about to make you his ♥♥♥♥♥" or "those that tasted the bite of his sword named him..." - Player speed increased and everyone given shotgun with unlimited ammo, but unable to jump.

"Prometheus Awaken!" - Magneto stick/crowbar sets players and/or things on fire

"What looks better, 1 or 2?" - Force everyone into scoped.

"One who hopes" - All text is set to esperanto

"Welcome to the club" - next person that takes damage is set to traitor

"What happened in vegas?" - Discombobs become more powerful

"Detective of friendship" - Detectives picked up weapons (or main weapon) heals

"Back you go!" - teleport everyone to where they spawned

"Betrayal" - detective explodes and damages/kills everyone close by

"We get it, you vape" - random player gives off smoke

"Fountain of youth" - instead of drowning, you regen health

"unbelievable guilt" - everyone who made a kill has head forced down for 10-15 sec.

"there's no job security" - everyone given DNA scanner

"Wiggly" - props move and shake

"Hit me, baby, one more time" - everyone knocked back a bit
"Buddy System" - All players are paired up (or tripled up if there's an uneven number of players) as soulmates.

I have a few.


1. Activates all traitor traps.

2. Swap all players skins or set to default

3. Hide everyone's health values on their HUD and no longer show when some one looks at another player.

4. Slightly blues and/or misaligns everyone's perspective it could be called Brewis Ginley.

5. Revenge of the pusher. Gives all player the Bristol pusher item.
"The floor is lava!"
After 5 seconds, the map begins slowly filling with lava. Jetpacks + jump guns are disabled.

"Delayed Reaction" / "Ah'll be back"
Causes an unannounced randomat effect at the beggining of the next round.
Likely to catch some players off-guard, and introduces the objective of figuring out what effect is in play.

"Fascism" / "Fascism on the rise. That's good to hear."
Like 'Democracy', but only one person gets a vote. The person changes with each voting session. In the first session, the person is randomly chosen. Subsequent sessions loop through players in the order shown on the Scoreboard.
Introduces a new strategic element that sits somewhere between 'Democracy' and 'Suicide Squad'.

"Big Red Button" / "Push my button"
A button spawns where the randomat's user is standing. Pressing it causes it to alternate between a state in which a timer counts down, and a state in which it counts up to its maximum of twelve seconds. The button is alternately coloured depending on the state, perhaps Detective-blue and Traitor-red, something colour-blindness friendly.
In the counting-down state, the button beeps, the time between the beeps shorter the closer the timer is to hitting zero seconds. If the timer fully counts down, the Traitors win.
Based on this button .
This introduces a new strategic element, and a source of panic.

"Portals" / "Now you're thinking with portals"
Gives every player a portal gun.
This mixes up the strategic landscape a bit as everyone becomes much more mobile, and introduces an element of chaos.
