Performance
Since this mod renders quite the amount of images on screen I was wondering how that affected to people's performances.

Has anyone of you run into low fps? If so, could you post a small benchmark? (For example, FPS when idle, FPS with the weapon selector open, FPS with sprites highlighted, etc.)

as much as it is a non-issue for me, i've noticed that it does take quite a bit of frames off from the solid 300 that i have on empty flatgrass, when the weapon selection is active. with the hud itself active there's only averagely about 5-15 frames (2-5%) less, but when the weapon selection is on it drops by about 20-30%, in the lower 200s, where it naturally varies. sounds like some lower end systems could have a bit more noticable impact.

Thank you very much for the feedback, I'll have that in mind.
alright, with something more graphically stressing, i've found some better defining results
hud disabled: https://files.catbox.moe/5mz9as.jpg
hud enabled: https://files.catbox.moe/5cvhck.jpg
weapon selection with few weapons: https://files.catbox.moe/kjak80.jpg
weapon selection with lots of weapons: https://files.catbox.moe/heuct2.jpg
this should give a bit more insight as to how much it affects performance
it also made me realize how big of a performance hog the flashlight actually is, good thing i can turn it off or rather to the old sort like in goldsrc using r_newflashlight 0

Thank you for the benchmark. I'll definetly have to take a look at the weapon inventory system and try to improve performance.

@dakimakura
I've just pushed an update that should significally improve performance.
Magnificent.

sometimes the HUD just causes random errors when enabled for some reason.

do post the errors, that would help immensely to troubleshoot
also do use the dedicated error & bug reporting thread

My computer is potato and I haven't noticed any frame drops, and if there are any, they're so few that I can't even tell
