open the consle and type sv_consistency 0
Basically, you have to open the developer console and type "sv_consistency 0". You find this option in keyboard/mouse. Next you click play campaign and make a local server with all the settings you want ( eg. difficulty, character, campaign) The way I did it is: Play Campaign, Join friends, create server, then just fill out the stuff you want. After that, the opening cutscene should play and the game should be good to go.
