I should really install Aotr again. Sorry.
Awakening is a more challening mod with really well done (and modelled) units, but it does suffer from performance problems on higher difficulties past week 100. (caused by the ai moving units. killing the ai solves this problem). Also, you can become the NR in awakening, or start as the NR is one of the campaigns. the main campaign also has special story missions
I believe he is talking about the GCs in AotR, buddy.
- takes place before the first Death Star is destroyed so there should be a few new events
-- might also not allow you to make the New Republic
the other 3 use the same bigger map:
Equal Footing has all 3 factions
Civil War only has Empire and Rebels.
-- both start after the destruction of the first Death Star
New Republic has all 3 factions except the rebels are already the New Republic
- it starts after the Battle of Endor, the destruction of the 2nd Death Star and the liberation of Coruscant.
Ik, so was I :)
