What you're seeing is a similarity to Corpus, which Vauban has. Personally I like the idea of a Corpus line of skins if it can be pulled off. We've got an excellent Grineer line, but there's room for more I think.

I can see how it might remind you of Vauban but side by side they don't even look similar.

Guys, you also have to realize that Vauban was developed as a joint effort between the Orokin banking/merchant clans (who later became the Corpus) and the (true) Orokin, so of course he would look Corpus in nature.
