delay/lag? Youtube
Hi, Regards to playing youtube videos I notice it tends to skip ahead after a few seconds and doesn't do smooth playing. No idea why this is happening, I have confirmed twitchtv does play smoothly without skips or any issues at all. Could someone advise any work-arounds? I have updated it to the latest one as well.

Yuki Cinema allows you to reduce the quality of the video in-game and i find that veryhelpful it would be a nice feature to add otherwise make sure HD video is unchecked when you hold TAB

please tell me what the lag is like when you join a public cinema server

Whenever I play any kind of youtube video it plays it but it tends to skip ahead instead of playing it smoothly. Public Cinema there's no issues from what I know, I have had others join my server and they too see the issue with youtube skipping ahead.

im no network expert, but it does sound like its something with your connection. its odd that it skips ahead for other players too, if you want to leave an ip or add me directly i could check it out with you, but the limits of how i know how to help are limiting fast. we could try to get Sam involved at this next stage if hes interested in helping out

Just an update incase anyone else has this issue as well: reinstalled gmod server+cinema noticed no change but. I investigated the settings googled around each one and found host_framerate was the root cause of it. The original setting was set to 60 boosted it to 100 and incremented it till the delay was solved. I have it set to 145 at the moment. Thanks again Keen!
