when saying fantasy-ish i specifically meant final fantasy

What about the Chroma Deluxe heavy blade skin? that's pretty fantasty-ish.

it does fit the weird grineer fortress guys style which is something that does exist in the game. this skin looks like its out of a weird anime final fantasy game

Those are some pretty different styles. And when you put it on the Zenistar it looks even more like something that belongs in an anime. The oberon Deluxe skin is even MORE fantasy looking than this is and yet it's in the game. And other tennogen stuff has fit the final fantasy look before too. The Skana Arit Skin looks juats as FF-ish as this does.

So really, while it might fit that final fantasy feel, it doesn't mean that it's too alien for warframe. You know, considering that warframe is a space game in the far distant future, it's pretty likely that at some point SOMEBODY would have made something like this, and somebody is going to fight with it.

Right, all i'm saying is that the fantasy look isn't out of place given all the other fantasy stuff we have. If it was some hyper detailed weapon you see on various anime games then i'd have to question it fitting in, but this looks fine when compaired to some of the game's other alt. skins.

it looks almost like something octavia would use giving the colors and style. does that mean octavia is to fantasy-ish?

This game has lost it´s own style a long time ago, there are so many influences right now. It covers almost everything, so saying "this or that doesn´t fit warframes theme" is just wrong in any way.

I'd say warframe has it's own style still. there's a lot of different looking stuff in game for certain, but there are some distinct styles that push through.

Lol, ik it's a bit old. Anyway, I do disagree with the "Fantasy-ish look" because people really don't care if it fits the game, they just want skins that look absolutly fantastic. I'm not going to go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I'm merely disagreeing with at least some rational thoughts. I, myself, think this would be a fantastic skin to have to heavy-blades, but you can have your thoughts and respects.
