Z-Moves are improved and ready to play!! ^_^
Thanks to Mentize for his feedback, experience and support, soon Z-moves are ready to be added in your gameplay with the quality all players deserve! =)

Had a brief look at it, can think of a couple things I'd change but otherwise is a great additional system.

I'd probably make change it to work as follows:
  • Players can acquire a "Z-Moves" through Item Cards that read "Draw 1 Z-Move from the Z-Move Card Deck"
  • Players can acquire a "Z-Ring" through an event card, which is usable once per Pokémon in battle.
  • Players cannot activate Z-Moves unless they own a Z-Ring.
  • Z-Moves allow the Trainer to roll an additional dice for 1 calculation when using a Pokémon that are equipped with a Z-Move Card at the start of battle.
  • Players cannot own more than 4x Z-Move Cards each.
  • Players can return 2x Z-Move Cards to the Z-Card Deck in order to draw 1x Z-Move Card from the Z-Card Deck.

I'd also create the following assets:
  • A modified Player-Board[i.imgur.com] so that Players can keep their Z-Moves next to the applicable Pokémon, or just add a small Z-Move Card outline so they have somewhere to stack them.
  • The Applicable Event / Item Cards for the above.

I'd make these changes because:
  • This formats things to work with the 3v3 system without making it overpowered in 1v1.
  • Gives players a way to acquire it without the PokéDollars system.
  • Doesn't conflict with the Roar of Time Item Card for re-rolling dice, and rolling 2x high-score dice would make the Player feel powerful in that moment.
  • Stops Players potentially hoarding Z-Move Cards from others.
  • Limiting to only being allowed 4 makes Players have to think about their Team more... Do they decide to carry 4 Z-Moves for 4 different types? Or do they start carrying 2x Psychic Cards to use 2 Psychic Types? (I'd also consider only having 1 of each type in the total, so if a player draws the Fire Z-Move, they can start looking to trade it with others or become the strongest fire-type user in the game)


    I can probably put together the event cards, item cards, rule page, and a Cartridge Container for it if you'd like?

Hey! I loved your feedback! And yes, I agree that it would be better to add events and item cards.

During the campaigns we play, we don't use Z-moves too much because we tend to spend the Poke dollars in other stuff so yes I loved that event/item system.

Also, in Alola, it would be nice to draw a Z-Move Card whenever a leader is defeated and/or all players to start with a Z-ring ^_^ and keep players searching for the Z-moves.

By the way yes, all help is accepted for the good of the game, Im not that great with art and I'm still learning how to do stuff in TTSim like for example, I still don't know how to make an extra table and stick it together with the ones they are already there or pdfs for better-looking rules.

I've created textures for the following, however given you are interested in learning TTS I'll give you the instructions for how to add them yourself (:

Event Card... Z Move Training
"Draw 1 Z Move Card OR Draw 3 Item Cards, then return 2 to the Item Card Deck"

You can either these textures in combination with their rear-card texture and TTS' Deck Builder to create the cards in TTS.

That should let you integrate your expansion more nicely into the Multi-Gen version. I'll leave explaining the rules & how to set this up to you and your workshop page. Once its ready I'll happily add it to this workshops "Available Expansion Packs" list.

Item Cards, Event Cards and the Cartridge are done. I will improve the Z-Crystal cards so they fit the Item Cards design. After that, I will learn how to do anything I need to learn.

For the Item and Event Cards...do you think 6 each is fine?

Added the Z-move Symbol to player's board. Do this look good? Ill work out next on the Z-move cards. I loved the Z-crystal tokens that I added but your idea of having like a deck of cards seems better

This would work just fine, if you'd rather add just one for them to stack cards it's up to you. Ultimately Players will likely do both.

For backs of Item/Event cards, use the below. They need to match the already existing cards.

I would avoid having a different item card for every type, otherwise you're going to have potentially 6 players hunting for 1 of 18 cards, adding that amount of bloat to the item cards deck (18, 36, 54, 72, etc) will just cause a mess.

Yeah that´s true, but wouldn't the Z-move deck be appart from the Item Deck, so the 18 Z-moves wouldn't affect the Item bulk as you say? https://i.imgur.com/U1MihCT.png I actually liked your suggestion that players could have the option of trading their Z-moves/Crystals among them. These ones https://i.imgur.com/gaixmKg.jpg would be part of the Z-move deck, not the Item deck ^_^

Or would you suggest having instead, Z-move cards that we could use for any move type?

When i mentioned a Z-Move Deck, I was referring to the 18 different Z Cards that already exist in your mod. It's up to you if you wish to add more specifics - It's your creation and I do not wish to influence it to the point where that changes.

In your current state, I would have:
  • The provided Z Move Training Event Card... As a method of acquiring Z-Moves
  • The provided Z Ring Exchange Item Card... As a method of acquiring a Z Ring
  • The Z Ring Token... As an indication that the player can use any acquired Z-moves
  • The 18 Z Cards that you already created... As equipable Z-Moves

What Z-Moves do for players is up to you, I made my suggestions in the previous replies.
