Like the title says, this is a good skin, not amazing, but NOT a bad skin, if you work on it a bit more to make it more unique, you might have a pretty good chance at getting it in. You have a great idea and starting point, try to refine it and make really pop. Maybe try to mold a unique more battle damaged excal helm, perhaps also have void energy seeping out from the cracks.
