May I reutilize the "Make Friendly" property's code?

I'm currently writing an addon that makes every single npc you spawn friendly to you and to every other npc that's friendly to you for convenience, and your addon seems to have the exact logic and code that I need to accomplish that. is it fine if i reuse your code? I will be sure to credit you if I release the mod.
