tl;dr: Nice idea, bad execution, Averna's missions are morally reprehensible and you should feel bad for coming up with them.

Long version:

Played and finished the mod. Sadly, I will delete all of its save files, unsubscribe and just pretend this never happened. I'm sorry for being so harsh. A lot of time and effort went into making this, and I appreciate that. But this, unfortunately, has zero effort. Effort as in too many mistakes and crosses the line too much for me to accept it and the bugs this generated on my game were really unacceptable.

Best feature: game-breaking Poisoned Apples. Could you make them into a separate mod? Just the apples, and nothing else? I loved the script used and how it worked, once I figured it out. Could use a bit more clarification though.

The good: the massive battles against "armies" of soldiers, dragon priests and the like. Nice dungeons. Kickass reward for finishing the mod. Well implemented into DB lore. Kinda. Details regarding the DB history, like the Cheydinhal and Bravil/Bruma sanctuaries were nice. The DB lore was respected very well. Sadly...

The really bad: Stabby and Averna are the worst characters I have ever seen in a mod. Their dialogue completely destroys all sense of immersion. Their voice acting is awful in every single area: horrendous voice quality, typos EVEN IN THE ACTING, grammar errors, microphone distortion, etc. Stabby is ridiculous even for the Brotherhood. Mathieu Bellamont in Oblivion was just as ridiculous but at least he had an excuse. Stabby is just annoying. Averna, meanwhile, just really reminds me of these Hot Topic "goth chicks" who saw Twilight once, heard Bullet for my Valentine once, and already they think they are vampire spawns of Satan and want ultimate magic and powarz (and I have met one or two sadly so I know). Not only that but she is just an awful character. Her backstory is better than Stabby's and surprisingly well done, I'll give you that. But her voice grated on my ears.

Oh yes, the shouts. Those were the worst thing. You don't even shout Averna- you just say AVENO! You know, like the oatmeal soap? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The Midas Morph shout is no better- it's obvious you just copied it from Unrelenting Force in the Creation Kit. YOU DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE FIRST SYLLABLE AND ITS EFFECT!

...And seriously, Ulfric Goldlove? You couldn't even be bothered to find a new, more original name? One Ulfric too many.

Completely unacceptable: Averna's quests, and a few missions, were completely out of line, both from a gameplay and moral point of view. I felt awful when Stabby got that one chick drunk so we'd kill her. But I felt even worse when she asks you to "rape" her with the Mace of Molag Bal. That was the worst mission in the mod. Ever. In any Skyrim mod. I mean, did you have to plop copies of the mace in the inn at Markarth? It would have made much more sense if you forced us to complete the haunted mansion quest for it- LIKE WE'RE SUPPOSED TO.

I admit, however, that catching that other Goldlove chick from the Blue Palace blowing the Dremora Lord, was hilarious and I regret missing it (I killed her with the apple).

Overall? Nice idea, but horribly flawed execution. Wish I could just use the apples. Oh, and don't act like your introduction to Stabby and Averna is original. It's not. You reused dialogue from the vanilla DB quest and everyone knows.

Thank you for sharing the mod... or your attempt at it, at least. But either it's not for me... or it's just awful.
