@Sallie Mae: They are going through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring phase right now. I would not be surprised if more closes come forward -- as for the offices I cannot say if the corporation will fold entirely.

@SimWorld Why will the home offices stay open if the stores are closing down? Won't that be a waste of money?
