Description
I thought there was a lack of synthetic portraits, so I added a few of them! Nothing else, just the portraits in their own group. I may add to this as time goes on, but for now there's six different robots to choose from, multiple colours for each!

FAQ:
[1. Why are the robots breathing/blinking/flexing!?]
Magic/flexible polymers/because I was using pre-existing models and textures and I had to work around the constraints of the framework I was building off of.

[2. Can I suggest a robot?]
Sure! I may not do anything with that suggestion, but I appreciate new ideas. I'm more keen on doing unique creations rather than stuff from licensed properties, and it would help a lot if you said stuff like 'make a ____ robot based on this portrait from the vanilla game!'

[3. Wow did you draw that stuff!?]
No! I am not a particularly excellent artist unlike @silfae, so it's all repurposed from either vanilla resources or stock images.

[4. Does this replace the robots ingame?]
Nope, it's just a normal portrait pack.

FINAL NOTE:
This is fully open access to all - if you want to make mods off this, you have my full support. You can use any of this mod to do anything you want, and you don't even need to ask. You can credit me if you want, but you also don't need to do *that*. All I care about is that people enjoy themselves!

Hi dogkisser, would you be ok if I included this mod in my patch that condenses all portraits mods in vanilla's species_classes? Your mod would be a requirement for my patch and users would have to subscribe to your mod. I will not take any credit and/or include any of your art in my mod (only changing species_class to fit the portraits under machines/robots). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2800218111

Wonderful work - I have included parts of your mod in mine but then got banned for not asking for permissions. Do you have any objections to your work being included in mine? I have already added you to the credits list.

If this mod still isn't fixed and you guys want to manually make it work (for taking robot traits), you just need to do the following.
1. Download 7-Zip
2. Extract the Archive(zipped folder) located here D:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\891425376\synthetics.zip
3. Edit the file called 00_synth_classes in the common folder, then species classes folder. There is a 1000 character limit so I will just put a google drive link and you can just copy the text or download it and trust I'm not smart enough to have hidden a virus. (Also google definitely checks for those before you download)
4. Rezip everything and you should be good to go, but I left an unzipped copy out too just to be sure.
