Description

"One of the loudest places in sports."

Delta Center, Home of the Utah Jazz NBA basketball team in Salt Lake City. Giving rise to NBA greats such as John Sockton and Karl Malone (Nicknamed "The Mailman").

John Stockton is regarded as one of the best point guards of all time. He holds the NBA Record for both Career Assists(15,806) and Steals(3,265) by a considerable margin. He is a ten-time NBA All-Star, two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and also a member of the 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team ("Dream Team"). Stockton currently is an assistant coach for the Montana State University women's basketball team.

Karl Malone scored the second most career points in NBA History (36,928). He holds the Record for the most free throw attempts and ties the record with Kobe Bryant on most first team All-NBA elections. Considered one of the best power forwards in NBA history.

The Delta Center was known to have one of the loudest sport arena crowds. During Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals, a decibel meter was installed at floor level that had reached readings over 110 decibels. Close to the amount of noise created by a jet at takeoff. Many commentators referred to the arena as the "Decibel Center."

Hey Crazyglueit,

I was able to re-import your Delta Center Model into my game as a Basketball stadium using mod tools. This makes it now functional as such. However, currently there is one issue. Now this seems to plauge any arena I do this to, not just yours, so it's just a case of those models missing something, Maybe a color map of some type?. That is that if you try to change the team color, the whole building changes to that color as well. But beyond that, it functions as it should.

Will you be updating this asset/releasing an alternate version of it to function as a Campus DLC Basketball stadium once said DLC releases on the 21st?

Really awesome. Love the detail. I do wish there was a version that was a bit smaller. I have to run a 20x20 grid to fit this comfortably. I'd prefer a 12x12 or even 16x16 but I realize you'd have to give up a lot of detail to go that small.

Great asset...thank you very much for that...as you said you do mostly buildings from Salt Lake City or Chicago...how about a 1:1 scale Rice-Eccles oder Soldier Field Stadium? Would be great...
