Sponsor Trait

The Genesis Corporation under the leadership of the experienced Jaroslav Bane is an industrial Civilization that can create productive powerhouses. Their unique Improvement, the Mechanized Farm, shines especially during early parts of the game.

To maintain these very advanced earlygame Improvements, all cities do however require some Titanium.

Golden Age

The Golden Age of the Genesis Corporation provides this Sponsor with a Mid- and Lategame Boosts that allows them to increase their overall progress. Players who construct many Metropolises - or some really tall ones - should invest into ways to generate additional Golden Age Point to make the most out of them.

Known Bugs

- ALL Leader Portraits are not animated when Custom Leaders are part of the game. As far as I am aware, this cannot be changed.

Credits
- Leader Image used: Kaidan Alenko from Mass Effect

This Sponsor has custom texts for many diplomatic interactions (including all that were introduced by Codex) but uses default fallback texts for some of the remaining reactions.

You get 16 for free from the Trait, so that's 4 cities guaranteed. Expanding towards any Titanium that's on the map should be a priority, but if there's none at all nearby, you'll have to find other sources for it. 4 more can be gained from the the Might Tradition Tree, you can some on the market, Purity gains extra Titanium from a few sources, Buildings/National Wonders, etc.

"Finding" more Titanium is a big part of the unique gameplay for this sponsor. Depending on the spawn location, that can be easier or more difficult, but if you run out of options, you can always go tall as the cost is per city.

How are you supposed to play this if you don't have any titanium nearby?

A personal thing, I don't like the fact that mechanized farms use the same graphic as manufactories - for me, I think a mechanized farm should look like a regular farm, but with more buildings or maybe some drones flying around. Because that's what it is, just a farm where the work is automated and done by machinery instead of people, but it's still a farm, not an industrial complex

Small bug I guess but shell's don't get proper benefit for the mechanized farms.

More than one vanilla quest asks for regular farms. You could allow building them as well as mechanized farms, or just add a later tech that unlocks them.

Are the mech farms of this sponder different from the ones Purity grants later in the game?

hey the mechanized farms didnt count as farms when I played, so I couldnt complete the ''make 5 farms'' quest
fun civ though

could you take this city name generator and this affinity terraform thing and make them to single mods? from the codex modpack. please :)

So is the Mechanized Farms *only* supposed ot be for this Civ? Playing with only this mod, the other Codex mod and info addict. I'm also finding late in the game, I can't seem to build Old Earth Relics nor can I build nodes or arrays; is this an affinity thing?
