Description
Unlike Fire Stations with the natural Disasters DLC if you add a helipad marker to a police or medical building helicopters will not spawn. Added a 1x1 sub-building for the hospital and imported to this asset converted for a HelicopterDepot. It should be found under your Healthcare Tab. At the moment it seems like the only way you can have both helicopters and multiple service vehicles spawn from the same building.

If you wish to try this yourself, I posted instructions here. You will need the 3rd, 4th and 7th mod found in Snow_Cat's and cerebellum's linked collection. However, you do not need any of them for this asset to function.

There is a built in feature @Darkangel which CSL included in one of their updates with Natural Disasters and Mass Transit dlcs that allows you to import sub buildings. The one you linked is useful for creators that create large assets with heavy tris This is useful for making services which release helicopters and vehicles. The mod you linked allows the possibility to view stats for both buildings. It is not the feauture itself which imports the building. Building as it stands should not have choppers landing front centre. Does it? By default those who do not use the marker will have helicopters landing front centre unfortunately.

Yes helicopters do go at teh front centre of teh ground so if you can get them to land on helipad that would be good but it would also be nice if they actually spawned from that spot too.

You do not need the substation mod for this to work. This one has a small 1x1 Detached home at the base which acts as the hospital that releases ambulances, and saved as a Helicopter Depot to release helicopters. This one does both and no SubBuilding mod is required as CS has swallowed that mod.

So helicopters actually spawn from this building as well as ambulances. I presume you need the substation mod for this to work (& of couse naturarl disasters).?
