U-turns interchange, "Double Spearhead"

This is a full highway interchange in a U-turn configuration. Instead of a large square or circular footprint in all directions, this interchange leaves a thinner footprint along the axis of the elevated highway. This reduces the impact toward zoning along the ground highway.

While being a grade separated junction, it functions similarly to a Michigan Left. Vehicles wanting to go left must either go through (elevated to ground level) or turn right first (ground level to elevated). The flow through this interchange is smoother than a standard cloverleaf, weaving is minimal, and the aesthetics aren't that bad either.

In the real world, this is a fairly uncommon configuration. An example of this type of interchange can be found in West Springfield, MA on I-91 at exit 13 (42.136216°N 72.625723°W).
