Description
Build separate roads for cargo, intake and emergency vehicles. Works with single, double or even triple lanes, and both large and small road gates to control your traffic. Gates can be grouped so you can open several gates at once.

This mod doesn't need road sensors to open the gates: everything is controlled by a StreetManager and RoadMarkers. Workmen, Janitors, Gardeners, Cooks and Snipers are authorized by Small Roadgates, so they don't need to wait for a Guard to open a gate for them.

Usage:

Step 1. RoadMarker:
Place a RoadMarker anywhere on the map where you want your road. It will move to the top. Press the Build Road button to create a single lane. If you want a double lane road, then place a second RoadMarker 2 tiles to the right and press its Build Road button as well.

Step 2. Gates
You can place up to 10 Small Roadgates on single lanes, or standard Roadgates on double lanes. A Small Roadgate always has to be on the right side of the standard Roadgate, because otherwise it would prevent the big gate from closing. However several Small Roadgates next to each other is ok (see screenshots).
Please allow at least a truck length plus a few tiles from the border edges when you place gates.

Step 3. Posts:
The Small Roadgate has sellable Posts to the left and right side. If you don't want them, or need to place a standard Roadgate to the left of it, you must sell the left Post, so the large gate can close (see screenshot). You can also sell the default posts and put some small yellow posts instead if you wish. If you sold the default posts but want them back, you will need to replace the gate since they will only spawn and get adjusted to the correct position when a gate is placed.

Step 4. StreetManager:
After placing your roads and gates, you must press the Update Road Map button on the StreetManager (the hydrant on top of a road). It will only detect new road gates when loading a game or pressing this button, so remember to use it after you placed new gates or Bus stops. After updating the tooltips on the RoadMarkers will show the gate positions and their status. Vehicles ignore unknown gates until you update the road map.

Step 5. Linked gates:
When done, you can link some gates as well if you want. Press the Setup Gate Links button on the RoadMarker to get a list of available gates on the lane. By pressing the buttons, you can make different pairs of gates, like A A B B B, up to E. Linked gates will open together when a vehicle arrives at the first linked gate. See the last two screenshots for guidance: The two linked gates behind the 2nd truck will stay closed until it starts moving. When a 3rd truck would arrive, it will wait for both gates to be opened before it starts moving, to keep the road crossing open for pedestrians.

By default a new road will be closed until you specify which kind of traffic you want to allow : Cargo, Intake and/or Emergency. It's possible to make all kinds of combinations. Keep it closed until you have completed the above steps.

Reset:
If things should go horribly wrong with leftover authorizations and stuff, you can press the Reset Marker button. This will delete the current RoadMarker and spawn a fresh one and also delete any vehicles on the road. After a reset you will need to configure the RoadMarker again, since the lane will be closed. There is also a Delete button on the vehicles as a last resort when they got stuck. This will remove the truck but not its content, so you don't loose any deliveries that were coming in. Workmen will simply grab them from the road afterwards.

Spawn empty truck:
There is a button on the StreetManager to spawn empty Supply Trucks. You can press it in case you need some empty trucks to collect exports or garbage and don't want to wait for the game to spawn those. If you have more than one cargo lane, the trucks will be spread evenly on them.

Prisoner Bus Stop:
You can use optional Prisoner Bus Stops on intake lanes to specify where you want to drop off prisoners. Bus Stops only work if they are placed above Deliveries and the (now optional) Reception room.

A Bus Stop can be on the left or right concrete tile of a single lane, which determines if prisoners get out to the left or right side of the bus. Remember to update the road map after placing a Prisoner Bus Stop.

You can also specify the type of prisoners which should be unloaded at this Bus Stop, and have several Bus Stops on the same intake lane, or several intake lanes with Bus Stops. When using several intake lanes, the Prisoner Bus will teleport to the next road to unload prisoners if there is a mixed prisoner content. This might look a but awkward but it's the only way to prevent the bus from unloading in the middle of nowhere when it reaches the Y position of a Deliveries or Reception.

Limo Garage
The 'Garage' lane is for the optional Limo Garage mod:
(Ancient version) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=867936103
(Latest version) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1465161615
Place this mod below the Limo Garage mod if you want to use both.

Chinook
The 'Chinook' mod is compatible, so you can have chinooks and vehicles coming in with cargo/intake/emergencies.

I'm having the exact same problem as SkulksGamer. My Gate system was working fine on Door Servos, so all automatically opened. !st Gate working fine, but all others are constantly locked shut.
I thought this would solve the issue of Prison Buses getting stuck behind all my Delivery Trucks, but it's just made a good prison unplayable
 unitl this updates..... if it ever updates!

Not working. Cargo truck arrives at gate and the gate doesn't open, instead a guard is trying to open it while the gate keeps shut.

goober, the road marker is under the objects.

i think i finally succed in how to separate the intake of inmates with deliveries. the bus station wasnt working solely so i had to put a road marker on top of existing vanilla road and marked intake as "yes". now the deliveries are going on the vanilla road while inmates intake is done on the invisbile road above the vanilla one... <3 is there any easier way in advanced roads v2 ?
