Sacramento, CA USGS

Description
[unfortunately, in trying to update this, I accidentally wiped the title and description from it and it has been so long that I can't remember any of the details. Let's see how well I can wing it...]

I used a USGS topographical survey data to determine the height of the map, then meticulously edited in the water to flow in an acceptable way, finally topping it off with a proper scale of the highways and railways around Sacramento. I believe I used Google Earth on top of my local knowledge to sculpt the highways to feel as accurate as I could get to the state that they had existed when Cities:Skylines first launched.
The process was done over several versions.

You forgot the part of CA-99 heading north to Yuba city and Chico.

This is pretty cool. Playing video games while enlisted in the military, away from home, and this warmed my heart. Thanks

Thank you, I'll take a poke around and see what I can do about that. :)

99 south has highways going the same way. I think there were some other highways going the wrong way outside of the editable area.

When I typed in Ikea, the last result I expected was a map in the area of which I live, haha. I assume all of those who commented are playing this game too! :) Any facebook community I'm unaware of that I should join? lol
