Homeworld 2 Classic Multiplayer Mod

Beskrivelse
This is a simple mod that simply readds the multiplayer menu to Homeworld 2 Classic. It does work using the Steam servers, but it seems password protection doesn't.
The game balance is unaffected and it's simply just one file changed to readd the menu option.

EDIT: I do seem to be getting some complaints that it doesn't seem to work for some people, and yet it works for some others. I'm not sure why, and unfortunatly, there's nothing I can really do. It does seem to be more luck than anything.

EDIT 2: Forwarding your ports might help, this has a list of ports that need to be forwarded: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?22497-Ports-Required-for-HW2-(1-1)

you download the mod and launch homeworld and go to hw2c mods and click on the mod then activate it

Don't want to sound like a complete idiot haha. but how do you actually download it? i have subscribed but am stuck after that. probably something really simple.

I just figured out those matches were remastered versions, not classic so... Anybody interested in multiplayer matches with this mod?

Actually, the matches are selectable but not joinable.

Online matches via Steam is visible but grayed out therefore I cannot click on them or join them... Is there a solution for this particular issue?

Well mine seems to work... haven't tried playing a match yet, but the button is there and it takes me to the LAN or Steam selection menu. For those having problems getting the button to show up, you still have to lauch this like it is a mod from the workshop. Click the "Mods" button and enable "Homeworld 2 Classic Multiplayer Mod" and lauch.

This will not work if you just launch Homeworld 2 classic -- it is still a mod. Hope this helps those that are having issues getting the buttons to show up.

Could someone message me so i can see if i need to port forward. My Friend can see my game but cant join, so i want to find out if it is him or me. Any help would be appreciated.
