First off, unless something changed since the last time I played T@, no it does not disable life leach.
Secondly, of course you'll lose the points if you turn the mod off after allocating points to it. The General Passives mod adds new ways to pend your points. You spend them in one of the new places, you'll lose them if you disable the mod.
I have no idea if the original author of GP made any updates since I posted this, nor do I care right now.
I do know Synergies has been updated since I made this, but I'm not about to delve back into modding this game just to update for anything new added.
Another quirk, if you turn off this mod + use a Respect potion, then all skill points allocated to this mod will be lost. So if your character has built up many skill points from Fame, these can be lost + will be forever unrecoverable.
Only the default classes and the Synergy classes(listed above) will have them.
You have to do a separate edit for each new class you want to have GP work for.
It's not too hard, just time consuming to do it the way I did. You should be able to merge my file into the Tenebris mod and make the copies of everything there.
Look for the original GP mod, and there are really good instructions on how to do everything in GUTS.
I just went the extra mile and tried to keep the filesize down by removing the majority of Synergy files from my version.
