@Laqueesha I will take a look through all Savana variants from Jazzy and disable those that shouldn't be in US, will also do something with your U-Haul suggestion, both of these change should be in upcoming update, as it doesn't take that much time.

I won't interfere further with spawn rate of commercial vehicle like GMC Vandura, however. I have already left them in truck_storage (classic storage in RTD edition ), which restrain their spawn by quite a lot in general, the rest will be up to base game or from the traffic density mod you are using.

Yeah, the GMC Savana van spawn is messed up, as you have Canadian vans spawning in the U.S. (CBC, Shaw, Rogers, Telus, CTV, etc.).

Some other suggestions: The U-Haul vans should have Arizona license plates as they're all registered there. The GMC Vandura should spawn much less (if at all), as it is a very old van that has been out of production for years.

@shimsham29 I'm glad you like the new change. Unfortunately, I can't tweak it further, or else it would be worse. Their spawn number will now totally rely on spawn rules from base game or realistic traffic/traffic density mod you are using. You can try out different one and see which will give your ideal number. Have a nice day :steamhappy:

Awesome fix to the cargo van issue. Checked the game out for a bit this morning and it was so much better than yesterday. Truthfully, they probably now spawn in a bit less than ideal BUT this is again, so much better than what I was seeing yesterday. I much prefer a bit too few than too many. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

You are an absolute legend. I truly do feel you have created one of the best mods not just for ATS but in all of gaming. USCC adds so much to the game's immersion, as I clearly saw when I temporarily disabled it last night during my testing and had limos and all this other silliness spawning in.

@shimsham29 Update: I found out that Jazzy leaves all commercial van in car storage, which make them spawn so frequently like that now when I no longer restrict them with spawn_ratio: parameter. Because I never changed the traffic storage for vanilla, and also have always thought Jazzy left them in truck storage, I never bothered to recheck. Just my carelessness here, I will make a small update that relocates them to proper traffic storage, and they should no longer spawn too much after that

@shimsham29 Very detailed report, thanks a lot. I think I kinda figured out what happened here. May I know if you are still using any traffic mod alongside my mod?

In the v2.2 update, I have decided to delete the spawn_ratio parameter from all commercial vans and leave them to other traffic mods (or the base game) to handle. It seems like that wasn't going well according to you lol. Is it really that bad compared to before? Is it happening in a specific state only?

I can totally add back the spawn_ratio: for certain commercial vehicles only, like those GMC/Chevy vans. If you have anything you want to see being improved, feel free to tell me as well, I will see if I can implement it.

I tested out deleting all folder and files of those two GMC van models from my Jazzycat mod and it was much better. I'd prefer to have them still in my game given all the company/livery variants but not at the rate I was seeing those vans. Other problem is I saw some variants that had Canadian (I'm Canadian) based TV network and company livery on them that you would never see in that section of the U.S. Was silly. No idea why the Jazzycat creator put those in.

USCC is mandatory for me because the traffic is ridiculous without it. I saw back to back stretched limos and some other lame stuff right after I loaded in the game with USCC disabled.

Your mod is just so damn good and essential.

Just did some testing and the other problem vehicle is the GMC Vandura. With the Jazzycat traffic pack but no USCC, the vans aren't too bad. With no Jazzycat but USCC enabled, cargo vans are fine since it seems vanilla models hardly have any cargo vans and none seem to be commercial.

I think the issue is that with USCC being more specific with vehicles that will spawn, the Jazzycat pool is decreased and the game then just floods the streets with these vans to fill in the density quota. I'm guessing these vans don't have a USCC spawn rate tied to them.

Thanks for the Isuzu speed bump as I was behind one pre-update this morning that was driving around 40mph on the highway and then later had one post USCC update and it was much faster, going 60-65mph.

While playing today I noticed a zillion commercial/cargo vans in Texas. Most of them seemed to be from the Jazzycat mod (seemed to mainly be the GMC Savana with the occasional Ford brand showing up) rather than vanilla cargo vans so I don't know if there is something you can do about that. It was a lot like how there used to be too many pickup trucks early on with your wonderful mod and you ended up fixing that, or how the Isuzu truck was. At one point I think I saw 4 cargo vans in a row. They had different company logos/livery yet still a bit distracting to see.
