AtE: Culture Expanded

Description
After the End: Culture Expanded

This mod is a submod for After the End that expands massively on the cultures present in the game giving many cultures unique traditions! It gives nearly every culture on the map a long history of ancestor cultures, going back to before the event! It is designed to inspire your playthrough or even to play long-dead cultures like British or American!

The mod adds a number of unique traditions to cultures all through the Americas, giving some uniqueness to the different cultures on the map!

An example of what is changed with my mod:
Minnesotan diverges from Northlaker, which diverged from Steelbelter, which diverged from Yankee, which diverged from American. In base ATE, Minnesotan just exists without any in depth history.

Additionally, it also adds the following things to ATE:
1. Adds a decision that allows Detroit to become an Americanist Holy Site
2. Makes Chicago an Imaginarianist holy site
3. Adds the Runestone Raisers Tradition to the Upnorther and Shieldshorer Cultures
4. Adds the Northern Stories Tradition to the Northlander, Yooper, and Minnesotan Cultures

If you find any bugs or issues with the mod please tell me in the comments!

I made a Discord server! If anyone is interested in joining and getting a more centralized place for all my mods, don't be afraid to join! Will also be giving more active updates on the progress of my mods there!

Future Plans:
I plan to add more new unique cultural traditions. Stay tuned! Besides that tho not really, if you have suggestions for anything comments would be appreciated!

This mod requires After the End.

Have this mod after ATE in the Load order.

This works with the Hoosier submod that renames Hoosier and Butternutter to Corn Hoosier and Hill Hoosier respectively!

Just wanted to mention this

Hey there, I love the mod! I noticed that the old hispanic cultures have names like Viejo Mexicano. In spanish the words would actually be the other way around so mexicano viejo would be the correct translation.

@xuzamaki Do you mean African-American culture AAVE is the dialect

Also, to the creator of the mod, what is the next flavor pack, if there is gonna be one?
xuzamaki Sep 7 @ 5:53pm
I would say that AAVE especially of the soutern variety is split off from old dixie.

Bug in the mod, I restored the Empire of the Great Lakes, but it destroys the Steelbelt Empire before creating the Empire of the Great Lakes, causing me to lose all of my kingdom tier vassals.

Not the original person who asked about them, but maybe, I believe this is possible, if you are a culture descended from Yankee (or part of one of those culture groups), own the USA or one of the Eastern American Empires, a hybrid culture with a Dixie descended culture forms “New American” (also would work vice versa).

My man is a prophet, I just looked at this page with the intention of voicing support for this mod & hopefully getting an update... brother already read my mind and updated it three hours ago. Now if only steam will catch up and *actually* update my modlist without having to unsubscribe & resubscribe, that would be a true miracle haha
