Custom weapons not having sounds is known to me. I do not know how to get the sounds to compile alongside the map when building it. There doesn’t seem to be any instructions around to help. So I decided to include the weapons anyway just for fun and some extra variety.
Halo AI has always been developed with the intent of the player fighting the covenant, not the UNSC. So the combat system will always feel a little strange when going up against the humans. What I can recommend is trying to play against the UNSC on lower difficulties. They seem to get a buff to their abilities on easy/normal. The covenant are weaker on these levels. Heroic and Legendary is the opposite for both factions. Bungie must have designed it this way so the friendly marines can support more inexperienced players better on the lower difficulties, which they will most likely play.
I played as an Elite on legendary vs Humans. Had all of the covenant turned off and all of Humans on. Most of the times only 1 or 2 squads spawned at the same time and there were long periods between spawns.
