Immersive Succession for AGOT

Description
Hey, so a while ago I've made a mod for base CK3 that makes succession a bit more believable, by introducing an "Extraordinary Elective" succesion law, that becomes available when the line of succession is uncertain.
Quite simple change but I feel like it makes rather untactful difference bringing more "immersion" as the title suggests.

Now I've decided to adapt my mod into the AGOT mod.

Many of you might have noticed, while playing AGOT, that if both Baratheons and Targaryens go extinct, the throne goes to the rulers of Tarth, game taking the familial relations very strictly, while in reality (and in ASOIAF I assume too), such distant relatives wouldn't be considered in line of succession, and so the lords of the realm would decide themselves, and this mod allows them to!

AGOT version have an additional feature, that being a decision allowing you to switch your children's house to your own if either your dynasty is of higher standing than your spouses, or if you hold an empire title; if both of you hold an empire level title, than dynasty fame plays a role here, or you will gain access to the decision once your spouse dies...

This decision is particulary important here, since the mod limits availabilty of matrilineal marriage, but it is necessary to represent things like Daenerys potentialy gaining the throne and contiuing the Targaryen line (if she doesn't find a potential relative, of course!)

I've tested the mod, but let me know if you find something broken or weird, especialy about the AGOT specific decision mentioned before.

The mod is rather focused on patrilineal succession, but I am considering giving the Dornish some love too! (idk how to code it yet, though)

I recommend disabling "House Stability", and "Enhanced Marriage" game rule, since those might conflict with the mod.

And enjoy!

Maybe I could make it so that the elective succession from the mod apply to Dornish if the heir is not of one's dynasty, even though their succession is not male-focused; though honestly I am busy with other stuff at the moment, but thanks for enjoying the mod!

Hi boss, love the mod it's probably one of the best in terms of handling succession, but I wish you could find a way to give the dornish some love coz this just breaks immersion over there. Keep up the awesome work.

I think that unfortunately in that case switching the dynasty of your cousin's daughter wouldn't be possible, due to limitations of the current system. That's an interesting case though, maybe I could look into some remedy later.
And thanks!

Sorry DP but I've tested things out and I can't express how good this mod is, it really add a whole new refreshing dynamic to AGOT, thanks a lot for the work !!

Question : if I don't have children and for example my cousin is my heir, and he only have a daugther whom is not in my court and have been married to some guy a bit far away. Let's say I die and my cousin fell off his horse and thus I am now playing the girl. Can I take the decision to switch my child to my dynasty ? Is that what the mod can do ? Thanks.

Thank for enjoying the mod!
And there actualy is a decision to switch marriage to matilineal once you have kids and your spouse is of lower standing (lower dynasty fame or if you have an empire); and your kuds will switch the dynasty to your too

This mod is so cool I really like this system, but the only thing is if you are a female ruler you can’t marry matrilineally, so like when I was playing Daenerys I couldn’t marry anyone that would keep my line in my house, so maybe add an option for female rulers to be able to marry matrilineally. Other then that this mod is so cool thank you!!

Thanks for enjoying the mod, although I think what you proposed is a bit out of scope of this mod, and I've started doing some work on the Petty Kingdoms age submod, so I would like to focus on that

I personally advocated often for great councils and mechanics like this in the ASOIAF discord, so its really great and I'd love to help in any way

This is amazing, could it be evolved into a dynamic great council as it happens in the ASOIAF world? I'd love to help you with events writings and advice!
