ninja yomi hustle v1.01

hello this is a reupload because the other one got turned into sandbert

i lost the local backup but its fixed enough with the workshop copy

It's a little better looking! (go try the down-b and dash attack)
real ones know the 1.0 release

the set play gremlin who throws shurikens and dropkicks those who displeasure them

finally
also some sprites got improved (go parry something)

Holding strong in the air lets you throw out a grappling hook.

**for controller buddies press down + jump + attack at the same time

Sticking someone with the tip makes it more likely for the second hit to pull them towards you.

The recovery frames are completely cancellable into attacks, specials, or jump.
Has a unique cool down that can be tracked on the hud.

Non super or momentum-changing aerial moves can be cancelled into throwing out the hook.


Quick slash can get cancelled into with almost ANY MOVE that isn't a special or super.
Pressing the special button while an attack is going off will immediately switch Ninja into Quick Slash.

it will still take 1 bar of meter to perform this as always.

Pressing attack at the same time of inputting Quick Slash will do a DOWNWARD variant of the move. Sends you a more drastic angle than the regular version.


Uppercut (up strong):

Can be used in THE AIR.
Has a short cooldown on use now.
Can be cancelled into from most air moves.
(funny tech from this)

Less base knockback and scaling

*controller fans can press up + jump + attack to do it

Substitute (down b):

If you already have a clone out, hold down-right while teleporting to fake teleport and not move at all.
(fx spawns at the first clone's location)


-supers can be b reversed now
-shuriken lasts much less longer when not bounced

-New golden skin

this is the easiest character in that game to program so there you go.

Jab - Punch

F-Tilt - Nunchuk + whip wave

Forward strike with nunchuk that automatically shoots out a whip wave.

U-Tilt - chuk heavy (the spinny one)

Your most common launcher. Hits 2 times.

D-Tilt - Grounded Kick

Long range low attack. Usually comboed into from jab.

Dash Attack - Dropkick

Sends you far forward to plant your feet in the opponents face.

Nair - Chuk Spin

Hits twice.

Fair - Air Kick

Light spike with hitbox near the ankle.

Dair - Dive Kick

Uair - Air Punch

Bair - Kunai slash

Fstrong - Jump Kick (big red kick that goes forward)

Carries previous momentum during strong charge.

Ustrong - Uppercut

Carries previous momentum during strong charge.
Two hitboxes with the sweetspot at the top, flies forward and up.

Dstrong - Stomp (theres a guilty gear reference somewhere)

Carries previous momentum during strong charge.
A big hitbox in front of you that knocks up. Jump cancelable on hit.

Nspecial - Shuriken

Projectile that bounces on the floor.

Nspecial2 - Caltrops (meter)

Throw four caltrops on the floor that bounce. One will go fast and far with two trailing behind it, and the last being placed near your location.

Zoning and blast zone carry tool.

Two bars of meter.

Uspecial - Super Jump

Fspecial

1. Dash (meterless)
A small dash that goes more forward than up, cooldown on use.

2. Quick Slash (meter)

An invincible dash that flings opponents hit towards your direction. One bar of meter.

Dspecial - Substitute (summon will not get mashed into this)

Place a clone. If you've already placed one, then teleport to its location and leave another clone where you started the special. Low recovery time on teleport.
