Description

This mod adds an additional orbiting ring to the path selection ring, with a radius of 0.7 meters — the maximum effective distance for an over-the-shoulder firing stance in a two-man stack. A useful tool when single planning a mission.

How to Use

IMPORTANT!: You’ll need to be fully zoomed in for the ring to appear at the correct scale.

This mod replaces the following game files:

selection_highlight.dds

Known Issues

The additional ring will also show up when you hover over a troop in the top-left HUD. There are no plans to fix this, to keep compatibility with other mods (especially the HUD Tweaks mod.)

This is my favorite mod of all time. I've asked the devs to implement low ready but they refuse. This will make it much easier to make my replays look clean without having to guess the distance for my guy to be low ready.

oh I think I know it, so it tell you if you are close enough to have a shoulder to shoulder.

So just to make sure I understand the mod. This give visual effect to help player understand the ring of shoulder stack instead of modified that range? or it change the range for over shoulder cover? Cause I do, in lots of time, able to have a shoulder to shoulder in close range.
