Report a translation problem
I’m sure there will be content there eventually, but so far the focus has been on Iberia and North Africa and next will be France
Extensive, unique mission trees and flavor content have been added for Aragon, Al-Andalus (Badajoz, Seville, Granada), and Fez!
You should not enable the Chinese Language Mods. Also there was a major update on Thursday and I haven't finished updating the translation yet. I'll probably upload it tomorrow.
This might just be problems on my end, but any help would be appreciated. Load order doesn't affect it, the chinese language mods for the original to be based off only make the problem worse, I'm playing on the most recent version, and load up the game with no other mods on.
Thanks for reporting. The Morisco culture and Swabian names are fixed now, along with a few other countries. Believe it or not, all it takes to break them is for NewYoung (the dev) to change a couple dates in the history files, which is what happened in this case. You won't see the fixed dynasty name unless you start a new game though.
As for the inquisition menu, all the Chinese text is built into the graphics, which is how I missed it. I should be able to replace them with English, but that will take more time.
I encountered some minor graphical bugs while playing Asturia. The culture in the Iberian group that conquered provinces from the three muslim nations convert to is listed as "morrisco_iberian".
The inquisition menu has Chinese characters on the buttons and on the UI (I guess some are pictures and therefore not translatable), the description while hovering over the buttons however is in English.
A few rulers, heirs and generals from different countries (e.g. Swabia) have names that are comprised of letters and weird symbols, I guess it's because I'm missing that one Chinese language mod. The same translation error also occurs when I hover over units. The text in front of the number of units and the general/admiral's pips is also weird.
The bug was due to a duplicate Andalusian culture group file. It's fixed now.
