AGOT - Varezys Dynasty (LoV)

The Varezy dynasty, a noble Valyrian family of dragonriders, was stationed in Qohor at the time of the Doom, far from the heart of Valyria when catastrophe struck. Forewarned by cryptic omens and keen observers of Valyria’s growing instability, they recognized that the old empire’s unchecked ambition would lead to ruin. The Varezys used this foresight to distance themselves from Valyria’s power struggles, cultivating allies among Qohorik nobility and preserving their dragons in secrecy. When the Doom obliterated Valyria, leaving its lands a wasteland of fire and cursed magic, the Varezy remained one of the few bloodlines unscathed, uniquely positioned to reclaim the legacy of their homeland without bearing the stain of its downfall.

In the aftermath, the Varezy family saw themselves as the inheritors of Valyria’s true essence, tempered by the wisdom of survival. Returning to the devastated Valyrian lands, they embarked on a cautious reconquest, using their dragons to navigate the treacherous terrain and purify lands tainted by dark magic. Their vision was not to recreate the old Freehold, but to establish a Valyria reborn—a realm that balanced power with restraint, guided by the lessons learned in exile. Welcoming scattered Valyrian descendants and survivors from neighboring regions, they slowly rebuilt a new society, bound by Valyrian traditions but strengthened by the hard-won knowledge of Qohor and the trials they had endured.

All the kingdom of Valyria has been colonized by the dynasty Varezys.
Adds member for the dynasty Varezys from Aurion to the bookmark "The Crowned Stag". There are some links with famous dynasty of dragonrider or high valyrian. (Belaerys, Targaryen, Velaryon, Scales, Celtigar, etc.)
