I honestly think this could've been done better. I'm not a sprite artist nor programmer, but this is a good start. With a bit more tuning and maybe some original sprites, this could become something great! I've seen some great spritework from this community, I'm sure someone would be willing to help if you try asking around. Good luck, and I wish you all the best!

If you use something like Audacity you can trim the sound files to be the only part that you need. You can also loop sounds in code.
