Family Joins Entourage

Description
This mod allows your family members (Spouse and Heir and Children) to join entourage while travelling for activities such as Feasts, Tours, Funerals, Tournaments etc.

If youre anything like me you might find it a bit odd that while attending a fellow Dukes feast your one-legged, spindly, hunchbacked b-word of a wife is left at home. Hey, she might not be a looker or a great conversationalists but she deserves some time out of the confines of the stone prison you call a holding, am I right?. Additionally, how can you have a "so called" majesty tour without showing off your carefully crafted herculean, beautiful, genius (definitely not inbred) children to those ungrateful vassals of yours? Well look no further because with this mod family members in your court will now be able to accompany you on your quest for debauchery and lechery wherever it takes you. Family members will not travel with you if they are currently your regent, they will also not travel with you if they are landed. They essentially have to be in your court with nothing better to do.

Good news is the mod works as intended, its a simple script value overwrite that sort of just changes some values as far as picking people for a travel entourage. That way you aren't stuck with a bunch of randos everytime and you get to spend quality time with the people that really matter to you.

Bad news is, I have no clue what I'm doing. This was my first mod and while it wasn't difficult I ran into issues with running it on previous save files. It only seems to work on new games so BEWARE. If you have a save you really like DO NOT add this to the playset and try loading that game, it almost certainly will crash.

Would love to hear your feedback on this, any other things that would be interesting to apply to this type of mod or any issues you run into while using it. I actually had a lot of fun making it and it was a great learning experience so wouldn't mind going back in and fixing or upgrading it.

I don't know if/how your mod addresses this but, I prefer all family to NOT attend anything, ever. Some events like feasts for example trigger the Secret Bastard events. Many of these events have some kind of "let's have sex" decision, and the AI will ALWAYS path toward that, and choose it.

This might not bother some people. And it doesn't bother me, when I don't care. When I do care, I slap on a few traits like Loyal, Chaste, Content.

Children who follow them out are prone to death from various accidents, which have a significant impact on AI. Can we make mods only effective for players?

There is a problem that children who follow them out can easily die from various accidents. I hope to add the function of autonomously choosing relatives to follow

Sounded like a godsend, but it's not working for me. Could the following example be a mod conflict issue or maybe load order? | I started with a ruler in Italy who already had two sons. I thought to take a quick pilgrimage to Rome at game start so that me and my boys could start early on the bonuses you get from being both a traveler and pilgrim. But even when I added the most people possible (third option), my boys didn't show up on the list of 20. Because it was a new game that I didn't care about, I then dismissed half my court so that I had only 20 people left. I then selected the option for 'up to 20 people.' Only 17 were allowed, and then my two sons were still booted from the list. This time, at least my wet nurse's son got to go, though. | I really want this mod to work. :< I've always wanted this feature in the game and was so excited to see your mod. | Thanks.

I've always wondered why my spouse stays at home but my 1-year old follows me to a pilgrimage. Doesn't make a lot of sense. Thanks for fixing this, I will be napping it for my next play-through!
