Heraldic Animals

Description
Heraldic Animals

This collection of emblems contains heraldic animals or beasts - featuring medieval and modern fantastical creatures and chimeras. Currently there are 42 emblems to choose from!

All heraldic animals have at least two variants to choose from and allow the selection of up to three different colors.

Features:
  • Alphyn
  • Western Dragon
  • Musimon
  • Owl Griffin
  • Peryton
  • Wyvern

Update 1:
  • Kitsune (3 Tails)
  • Owlbear
  • Winged Fox

Update 2:
  • Akhlut
  • Tyger
  • Winged Serpent

Update 3:
  • Ammit
  • Bagwyn
  • Musimon (Walking)

Update 4:
  • Chimera
  • Enfield
  • Jersey Devil

Update 5:
  • Hieracosphinx
  • Hippocampus (Waterhorse)

I may add more obscure or modern chimeras to the roster. So if you know something that could fit the theme, feel free to suggest it in the comments - I might add it in another version.

@Lin Nacume - Perhaps I'll check it out at a later time, thanks for the tip!

@Ġedryht of Wōden - This mod should not interfere with any other mods or game progression.

@Argie.Goulios(1st GLI) - Who smelt it dealt it

@WolvesofZiu - I will not add any emblems or symbols that - to my knowledge - are copyrighted, but I'll consider adding a different twin headed dragon in a later update.

@Lailaps - I hope a Hieracosphinx will suffice for now and that the Hippocampus options are to your liking. Thank you for these suggestions!

@shlejma - Here you go

Great Art. As an Idea: Sphinx and Hippocampus should work great.

Can you add the Youjo Senki Empire Dragon Flag?

I hope this works with my heavy duty modlist. These coat of arms are great for my anglo, nordic and gothic colonies.

Dear author, there is a program ModTranslationHelper on GitHub. With its help, you can automatically create localization files for your mod from your native language to other languages supported by the game in a couple of clicks. Perhaps you will find this useful. The idea of the mod is cool.

@FenFenScreeScree - I'm glad you like them ^^

@Can'tTouchThis - Thank you!

@General Cartman Lee - Update 4 includes the greek chimera. If there are any other ancient creatures you'd like to be represented, I'd love to hear your suggestions!

@Scripe of Nekoti - Thank you! Almost all of them are hand-drawn using Gimp, but some are traced from real medieval heraldry with slight changes (such as the musimon and tyger).

@Squirrelinaround - This mod only contains the emblems, no additional scripts or AI behavior. The AI tends to only combine or alter existing coat of arms, so it's unlikely it will use these.

Are these only for the player or do these impact the AI also?
