Cynthia Pitt, or as she is known by her stage name "Midi", jams out in Smack Studio! This rising star can't decide whether she wants to play music or fight for a living, so why not do both? With her legendary BoardSword (Keyblade was already taken), she will show her opponents the fearsome and long-reached might of the piano!

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Warm-up
Midi will play her sword and the player will need to press Up, Down, Left, or Right as they appear on the screen. Should they successfully do so quickly four times, Midi will be ready for a performance! She will heal 10 damage, fill up the Ultra meter 20%, and her next connected attack with the BoardSword will be stronger!

SIDE SPECIAL: Staff Rush
Midi will take a readying stance. The player will be presented with a musical staff where they must release the special button at the right moment! If they fail, Midi will simply perform a weak stab forward. Should they succeed, she will zoom forward with her sword out, hitting anything in her way!

UP SPECIAL: High Notes
This is a simple upward slash, but with a sword as big as Midi's, it's got a bit of range!

DOWN SPECIAL: Pirouette
Midi prepares for a counterattack where, upon getting hit, she will spin real fast, mowing down any unfortunate soul that may have been too close to her!

ULTRA: Codaclysm!
Midi throws the BoardSword, catching any opponent in its way. It returns and she delivers the sickest chord you've ever heard; an explosive end to her song! Regardless if anyone is caught or not, Midi will get a free "Warm-Up" buff for her next attack!

TAUNT: JAM SESSION
Midi's Taunt lets you play an interactive piano! Using the Up, Down, Left, Right, Attack, Special, Jump, and Taunt buttons, you can play different notes and create your own music, like playing the Ocarina from the Zelda games. Press Shield to cancel out of it and keep fighting!


Keep an eye out for the musical notes coming from Midi. They begin to glow after a successful Warm-Up, indicating that the next successful hit with the BoardSword will be stronger!
