Picnic Pond Park 9X10

Description
About
A 9X10 park with a large pond, pergolas, picnic tables, trees and some vegetation.
The two paths can be connected to outside paths so this park can be a part of a larger park (see the pictures for an example).

The park has an entertainment value and draws tourists.

There are hang around markers under the pergolas where visitors should gather.

How to use the park
  • Open Find It and search for "pond park" or "picnic"
  • Plop it next to a road on a flat surface (the pond needs a flat surface)
  • You can use Move It to move the park up to 2 cells from the road.
  • If you have the Parklife DLC you can use the BOB mod to add a Swan Marker inside the pond and you'll have a swan swimming around.

Stats
Cost = $1500
Maintenance = $24

See the last pic for the other stats.

@MikeGreeneHimself thanks :)
I actually agree these tiles don't fit well. But the process of changing it in the asset editor, creating new tooltip/thumbnail/preview and photos and uploading the files can take 30 minutes at least.

Instead, people can just use the BOB mod and change/hide these tiles in 30 seconds in-game.

Love this park. First one I can remember coming across that had a pond alreadty built in. Super convenient. Thanks for sharing.

**As far as the texture under the pergolas, even something simple like a concrete curb (like found in some parking lots) around the border, might be enough to differentiate the 2 texturers and be a little less drastic of a transition; but honestly, I personally wouldn't even notice the difference once placed into a city and focused on actually playing the game.

Ultimately, create sh*t however you want.
Everyone else *should* be thankful; else they can move on to the next one.

@cardvillain Yeah, they don't fit perfectly but you can change these or hide them with the BOB mode.
About night clubs: I can't make buildings because I have zero knowledge of 3D modelling or graphic software. Can only detail existing ones.

you do some great work, but this asset has some serious flaws. The surface under the pergolas doesn't look right, just doesn't blend, nor does it make any sense. Probably would look better with just the pergolas covering the end of the road and some of the grass just before the pond.

And I don't say this to be negative, like I said, I think you've done a great job with the assets you've uploaded.

As a graphic designer and part time architect, I wanted to share an honest critique before the npc's throw misguided compliments your way.

You want a real challenge.. Design a nightclub that is realistic, all the nightclubs in the workshop for cities skylines are out-dated and look like trash.The key is do the windows at night realistic, too many assets have just a solid yellow rectangle, it was fine for 2015 and 2016, but NOT now in 2024.

Remember how the windows are rendered at night are a key to a realistic asset. And yes, this is a serious post. :steamthumbsup:
