Lux's Crusader+: A Rebalance

Description
A small rebalance for the Crusader, including his Wanderer and his paths. These changes aren't necessarily things I think Crusader should have, but changes that I would enjoy him to have, and maybe others could have some fun with them too.

Removed Wanderer Rallying Cry changes due to recent buff to the skill.

Changes:

Wanderer

- Zealous Accusation+ CRIT increased from 5% to 10%.
- Radiance causes the Crusader to deal +20% DMG vs Burning targets for 3 Turns.
- Radiance+ now causes the Crusader to have +5% CRIT chance when attacking Burning targets for 4 Turns.

Aggressor

- Reap and Reap+ no longer have 1 Execution vs Burning targets.
- Reap+ no longer gives the Crusader a Strength token on Killing Blow.
- Reap and Reap+ now deal +50% DMG vs Burning targets.
- Reap+ CRIT increased from 5% to 10%.
- Tenacity and Tenacity+ now apply 2 Block tokens to the Crusader when used.

Templar

- No changes.

Banneret

- Zealous Accusation+ CRIT increased from 5% to 10%.
- Rallying Cry+ cooldown increased from 2 to 3.
- Rallying Cry+ now converts 1 Block to Block+ on all targets.

I hope anyone using this mod has some fun with it. Feedback is welcome.

I can see your point, and I don't disagree. Probably just a matter of personal preference in this instance, as while the -Stress on Kill is incredibly potent, I'd prefer stronger burn or damage theming on a kit labeled Aggressor.

@Last of the Order I am of the belief that the -stress on kill from Aggressor Smite is a very valuable piece of his toolkit, allowing him a reward for performing executions on burning targets, rather than them just fizzling out to the burn, so it is unlikely I will be changing that. On vanilla, I would consider Smite to be the strongest part of Aggressor.

The suggestion for Reap however, I am considering, I do agree that the +50% DMG vs Burning is a little steep, and I may consider changing it to +30% DMG vs Burning, and additionally grant it +5% CRIT vs Burning to compensate. My apologies for very slow updates and mods lately, I haven't been modding a whole lot, and that which I have been doing is spent on a Big Project :tm:.

If you would like to learn to mod yourself, even just making some adjustments to characters for a mod, I would recommend joining the Darkest Dungeon official Discord server and looking in the mod resources channel, it contains useful guides to get you started.

Seconding CarbonKnight9's suggestions, for Aggressor especially, as some of its functionality in Vanilla is strange:

Smite
- Remove -Stress on Kill
- Add +50% Damage vs Enemies on Fire

Reap
- Reduce +50% Damage vs Enemies on Fire to +33% Damage vs Enemies on Fire

On a side note: Would you be able to point me in the direction of where to learn how to modify character skills? There are some changes I'd like to make for my own personal use, and I'm very eager to learn how, just could do with a point in the right direction/what to look for. Thanks!

what if smite did +50% damage vs enemies on fire instead of -stress on enemy kill? It feels weird to me that the smite of every other class, even banneret, gets +50% damage vs combo but aggressor, which is supposed to be a more aggressive class doesn't get a conditional damage bonus, and I think it would be cool to modify smite to also have a conditional damage bonus like the other paths, but for enemies that are on fire instead of enemies that have combo, in exchange for the -stress on kill since inspiring cry already stress heals himself. Just a thought, good mod :steamthumbsup:

also, less important, but other ideas:
50% more damage on reap feels a bit too much, maybe 33% more damage vs on fire would be better, especially if smite had 50% more damage vs on fire.
and also maybe tenacity+ or bulwark of faith+ or both getting block+ on templar, and maybe smite gets less damage but gets -stress on kill that aggressor had as well as its current -stress if enemy has combo.

I still have huge framedrops, especially when I open the hero menu. But the issue is the game itself I think, other mods generate this issue as well. But thanks for looking into it. I hope they patch it in the near future so I can try out our mod.

@Ar-Aamon I was unable to recreate the issue on my end, however I did push a fix to a semi-common poor performance bug. Hopefully, this fixes the issue. Do let me know if you try it out.

@johan163 Removed the Rallying Cry changes from my mod, so the Vanilla ones can be used instead. If the vanilla version turns out to be quite bad, I will look into making some changes to the mod again.
