Ultimate FlatOut Soundtrack

Description
[WORKING]
No external tools or downloads needed besides the mod manager included with the Steam release. Simply subscribe to the mod and launch the mod manager, tick the box to enable the mod and hit save then boot the game.

The Ultimate FlatOut Soundtrack combines ALL of the music from FlatOut, FlatOut 2, and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage as one large playlist.

Features:
All 70 songs included in FlatOut, Flatout 2 and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, which play in both menus and races.*

The playlists between menus, stunts and races are combined, none of the playlists are separated between menus and in-game.**

*Mod does not include "Sixer - The Race" as I did not feel like it fit as a mainstay song.

**The song, "Central Supply Chain - FlatOut", is the exception as this song only fully fits in as a menu song.

A tutorial created by me to answer the question, "How do you do this?"

That is normal, FOUC has known and unsolved audio problems which cause sounds or other audio to stop playing after a while, this can be triggered by spending too long in a single event without returning to the menu or continuously switching music tracks, and there is no fix at the moment for this.

I encountered issue - after toggling music ("T" key) in race, there was no music at all after 3,4 or 5 toggle right untill entering the menu

@Spartan195 Do you even realize what mod managers are for? Looks like you're new to this stuff. :papyrus:

Perhaps it is because nobody has the source code for the game due to the age and the many hands that ownership has gone through since Empire Interactive folded. True, most games include a mod manager in game, like Wreckfest or Beam.ng, but even in those games, downloaded workshop mods still need to be enabled in thier mod managers that are inside the actual program.

Nah, been using steam workshop since release with countless games and this is the only one which needs an external mod manager for an already mod manager that the workshop is, so what is self-explanatory for you it's not for the end user, basic development lol

This entry is my original entry. It simply combines all 3 games songs indiscriminately to both racing and menu songs as I personally enjoy hearing the full list at all times. Some people wanted a version where the playlists were more like the original way the songs played in the games. I.E. that songs like "Mercy Me" would only play in menus and stunt events in FlatOut 2 and not races. The other version "The Bugbear Experience" seaparates the playlists so that only songs which played in the menus in Flatout 1, 2 and UC only play in menus, ones that only played in races play only in races and ones which only played in stunts, only play in stunts.

I just realized, Why is there two entries for this mod?

yay, a sound mod that actually works without any "tricks".
Some songs sound as if they were on a lower volume but apart from that amazing

As all mods do. You need to enable it from the mod manager first. I figured that is self explanatory for anyone who has ever used the steam workshop before. The description in the manager probably says WIP because I was troubleshooting and didnt bother retyping the description which I just updated in Steam itself afterwards.
