Description
Straight out of Tako Boy Studios' game "Candies 'n' Curses", Molli Pop brings her arsenal of torches and flashlights and joins Rivals of Aether! With the help of some friends (and foes!) Molli Pop is capable of controlling the stage with different projectiles and traps, which she can command and activate at her own will. While not the best bruiser up close, she excels at mid to long range combat and covering the opponent's options during recovery.

Molli Pop also released with a dedicated stage: Halls of Sorrow!

Moves

Up Strong and Down Strong - Zeke & Reaper
For her strong attacks, Molli summons Zeke the zombie and the scythe-wielding Reaper to unleash a powerful uppercut or a slow-moving projectile respectively. Doing so, the called monster will leave on stage their own summoning spot, from which they can be summoned again by Molli Pop whenever she needs by using Down Special.

Neutral Special - Mousse / Churra / Goober
Molli sends forward one of three pet helpers as a projectile, depending on how long you charged the move for.
1) Mousse waddles on the floor at a moderate speed and lightly hits whoever he encounters.
2) Churra will fly in a straight line, phasing though all enemies and setting them on fire for a while.
3) Goober jumps forwards and then slowly descends, stunning for quite a while the opponent he connects with.

Side Special - Bunber's Bomb
The spooky mansion's butler, Bunber, shows up beside her and throws a bomb at the ground. While the timer still expires, both Molli and her opponents can mix up the bomb's location by launching it around using their own attacks. When it explodes, the bomb damages everyone, even Molli Pop herself!

The bomb can be instantly detonated if anyone hits it with a move with a fire effect or a detonation effect, so always keep an eye on that!

Up Special - Hopscotch
Hopscotch lends Molli Pop a helping hand, letting her ride on the back while they skyrocket upwards. The vertical distance traveled depends on how long you let Hopscotch charge his jump for.

Down Special - Summoning
Molli Pop shouts an order from far away, during which either Zeke or Reaper responds by attacking in the place their respective summoning spot was left at. This spot needs to be set up before the summoning, and at each use of the move Molli switches between summoning Zeke or Reaper, one at a time.

Molli can cancel any move on hit into Down Special, letting you smoothly follow up your own blows with the ones from the monsters. But keep in mind that Zeke and Reaper will also hit Molli Pop if she's around during their attacks, so watch out!

The opponent can get rid of the monster and their summoning spot:
1) By attacking the active monster before he manages to disappear. Doing so, the hurt monster and its summoning spot will be removed.
2) By putting Molli Pop in parry stun, or by making her lose a stock. If one of these happens, all summoning spots will be removed (if there were any on stage).

Other cool stuff

- Molli Pop keeps the last weapon she used to attack in her hand, switching between a flashlight, a lantern and a light sword.
- Taunting will make Molli Pop listen through different Candies 'n' Curses OSTs while using her mp3. Hitting during this state will make her drop her headphones.
- uuhh that's it i guess.
- spooky skins!!!

Moveset concept:
Most of it by me, but i also wanna thank the Candies 'n' Curses subreddit for proposing such nice and interesting ideas for some special moves and other cool gimmicks (I'll do my best and try to add them all someway in the future).

Art:
The Molli Pop Character, her sprites and all the art and music in Candies 'n' Curses belongs to Tako Boy studios. I am not affiliated with Tako Boy Studios, as this was just a passion project.

@VinUwU ᗜ˰ᗜ yes, that was me! I struggled with the physics for a bit there but eventually I was able to implement the bomb in a way I'm quite proud of, thanks for the recommendation on the subreddit

@Torinstrawberry i had a couple of playtesting games with my friends and yeah, i gave her way too little knockback overall. i wanted her to play at a distance and rely more on her projectiles and traps, but i think i just overtuned it all. i'll surely make some adjustments in the next patch.

the sprite work and stuff is great however my issue is that the actually move set kinda just sucks i think the moves themselves are good just there's no power or oomph in any of her hits her up air has no knock back growth back air seems like it should kill but just doesn't, down air isn't that good of a spike and forward air doesn't kill until super high percents, nair is really good though, she can combo well just she can never kill none of her aerials kill till ridiculously high percents and i find her smash attack and her down b to summon them are relatively too slow to even be reliable ways to kill which would be fine however she doesn't have any kill power. even her bomb is really bad it takes to long to explode on it's own and it takes forever to combo out almost guaranteeing you get punished for using it so there's no real use. overall i really like the concept just their side special and overall moves need a overhaul to be stronger to make them actually fun to use

I've never heard of her or her game but she's fun & her sprites somehow feel right despite obviously being a different style. Also, the way her last used weapon stays is how I always imagined Hat Kid's hats would work if she were in Smash.
