Introduced 11 unique idols from the game "Gakuen iDOLM@STER," and 57 instrumental BGMs released on the official YouTube account @hatsuboshi_gakuen. This mod also ignores default idols, and you can delete the file "ignore.json" to allow default idols to appear in auditions.

10 of these unique idols have the rarity of Silver, and 1 has the rarity of Gold. Each idol has unique intro line voice, customized VO voice, customized trait (that is only for show due to the limitation of modding), fine-tuned stats that resemble her character in the original game. While their ages are accurate, their birthdays are randomized by this game.

The english translation of the intro lines are based on the video posted by YouTuber "the kobemaster" @imasloid.

Due to a bug of this game, I advice you to save before every audition. If your game soft-locks during an audition, the following fixes may help:
a) Right click this game in your steam library, go to "Properties" and enter "-force-glcore" in the "Launch Options."
b) Delete all the portrait cache folders under "Glitch Pitch/Idol Manager/Cache/Portraits/*".
c) If the bug persists, temporarily remove the file "ignore.json" to allow default idols to appear in auditions, which may reduce the chance you encountering this bug.

As the original game releases more idols, this mod will be updated as well.

@prius missile Unfortunately, I can only write in English and Chinese. If I create a Japanese version, it won't be better than that you just machine translate this mod. If you really want one, I can publish one for you, but it will take extra time to maintain.

@Unseen Chaos Thank you for your feedback with so many details. I have encountered most of the bugs you listed when playing with mods. Most of those are bugs from the original game, such as the music bugs you mentioned, and you can reduce their occurrence by avoiding spam-clicking to skip scene transition. Another example is the scene bugs, and they are native to the original game which any mod can trigger if modded idols appear in the original game scene. Unfortunately, these bugs are either not fixable or can only be avoided with more RAM to reduce image buffering. And yes, I got that "you receive a message from *NOT Kotone*" before. iirc, I got that funny dialogue back when I was playing without mod as well. I will keep in mind about the bugs you mentioned and explore ways to reduce their occurrence.

Likely mod-specific bugs:
- at the start of scenes with a single idol (noticed this a lot during dating cutscenes), the main focus idol's model is sometimes briefly replaced with another model (< 1 second)
- during one of the Shibuya dates, the idol says something along the lines of "I'm more [highest_looks_attribute] than anyone you've ever gone on a date with." -> they're supposed to use cute/pretty/sexy/etc but they end up saying the code instead of the adjective here lmao
- sometimes the names get mixed up, resulting in funny dialogue (typically occurs right at the beginning of scenes); I can quote an example of this below:
"On your way out of the office, you receive a message from Shinosawa Hiro.
'Hey, can I come over to your place to talk about something important?'
...seems like you need to have a conversation with Fujita Kotone."

I think this mod is perfectly fine as-is. The extra CGs would just be a nice bonus. I'd love to contribute as well but am also suffering from a lack of time (and motivation in my case). But yes, we love Kotone!! As for the bugs, they're really not much of an issue, but I'll make a quick list off the top of my head just for clarity:

These ones are very minor and can be easily fixed by a quick trip to the main menu or by restarting the game (also could be an issue with the base game and not the mod):
- default menu music sometimes plays during concerts, causing the tracks to overlap
- music uncommonly stops playing on the main gameplay screen

@Unseen Chaos I'm glad people want this mod and more so when players like you give reviews:steamhappy:. Coincidentally, I brought this game because I wanted to play it with im@s Shiny Colors idols from mods. When Gakum@s was released, I wanted to return the favor by creating this mod for other Gakum@s fans. You can comment about the bugs you encountered for me to fix. For the CGs you mentioned (F.Y.I, I have wanted the same back when I was playing with SC mods), from my knowledge, I need to rewrite the original event chain for each idol to replace them. Unfortunately, I am not a pro modder for this game and I often need references from other mods. Learning to write and test an conditional event chain requires a lot of time and effort which I do not have regrettably. I may consider it if I find a reference mod that replaces the original CGs, but I have to apologize that I will not invest in this for now:steamsad:. At last, as another Kotone fan, I thank you for your long comment!

This mod was the whole reason I bought this game. Loved using it on my first playthroughs. There are some bugs here and there, but it was such a good experience overall. Finally finished the wedding ending with Kotone today. Would be cool if there were Gakum@s CGs to replace the original character art for these scenes, maybe by sourcing some fan artists, but that'd probably be a bit time-consuming to do for all the idols. Might look into this one day. Anyway, huge thanks for this mod!

Let me know if you want me to move all instrumental BGMs to a separate mod and/or compress them further to reduce file size.

@Soul You are welcome to try out this mod. Since Gakumas has been producing contents less frequently for the past few months, I have been updating this mod monthly. The next update will include a new unique idol, Sena Juo.

Haven't played this for a long while and it was when mods for this game was less made so no clue someone was been for Gakumas and constant update. Just ran out of games to really play so great cause been an Imas fan since Starlight Stage (Deresute), gonna use this :)
