At first I had wanted to make a remaster for just the Boomette but at some point I've decided to do the Boomer, aswell. Technically, this is a two-pack but since the survivors never acknowledge the presense of Boomette and just call her Boomer, I treat those two models as a single character.

I've always been confused by the absense of those disgusting boils on Boomette like all the other Boomers had. Putting those onto her wasn't really a problem for me, since both models pretty much share the exact same skeleton.

For the Boomer, I've decided to use a texture by DarkMuffin called Pimpled Boomer. Gotta say, this might just be the most disgusting Boomer texture I had ever seen. I also wanted the male Boomer to stand out from his L4D1 counterpart, so I gave him some shoes and pants from Mall Cop Boomer by Eranthis. Last but not least, I've added a Midnight Riders T-shirt with a neat normal map as the cherry on top.

Personally, I feel like the Boomer got the short end of the stick when it came to a L4D2 redesign, compared to the L4D2 Smoker. So, I wanted to make the Boomer look more mutated just like the Smoker. I'm sure you've noticed those disgusting blobs on his head.

I've also added a few more jigglebones to both models: the Boomette now has jigglebones on her new chin sacks, as well as slight hair jiggles and the Boomer now has hip and breast jigglebones that I carried over from the Boomette's skeleton, as well as animated Boomer boils, which are a must-have.

While making these I wanted both of them to resemble the L4D2 commons, including the eyes. That's why I've added a new eye texture to both of them that glows in the dark. It looks really cool and I think I'm gonna add that effect to all of my future infected remasters. Maybe I'll even update the ones that are already out.

I've tested these models on official servers and it worked fine for me. If you start having consistency issues, type "sv_consistency 0" in console.
