Hitbox Helper Buddy Thing

Description
Intended use for workshop developers and workshop characters!
It WILL not work on regular matches, nor online matches!
It will only show its use once you show hitboxes in practice mode!
It does not save to the character! You must still put in the values to your attack .gml's codes yourself!

Workshop developers, as you make your characters...
Ever dealt with that weird dan fornace Workshop Helper tool that helps you place hitboxes?
That tool that you have to put in the image every time, set the origin point every time, and the zoom in is broken?
Yeah, I've been there, too...!
This new tool miiight just help you have a better time, or at the least a quicker time, placing hitboxes!

Just use your mouse! Go to practice mode, and things will be clear to you!

For things that this tool does not cover.... Just edit your attack .gml code yourself!!!!!! You can do that!!!!


This tool is not perfect, and is not intended to be one. It is very much jank
But it is functional, and again, it is just a helper!

i will likely never bugfix this

hi! ive updated my Hitbox Helper Buddy Thing to fix the Offset Mode behavior for characters with small_sprites = 1.
I've also fixed how hovering over the character in was horrible and in inaccurate location (i made it check for mouse collision with owner.hurtboxid instead and wow it works wonders)

dude im having so much fun just messing around with this and seeing how things work with this its so awesome! one suggestion though, maybe make it so you can see what the hitbox damage value is and knockback scaling is when you click on it.. im thinking of learning opportunity's here, plus it would add extra flare i guess..
