Description
ConVars:

Explosion_Light (0-1)

Explosion_Light_Red (0-255)

Explosion_Light_Green (0-255)

Explosion_Light_Blue (0-255)

Explosion_Light_Range (0-2147483647)

Convars will save.
Convars can only be changed by whoever is running the server.
Yes it works on singleplayer too lol.

Information:

This addon gives explosions a dynamic-light.

Works for both players and NPCs.

Images taken with 500 range.

Questions And Answers:

Why does it not disable for grenades when I set Explosion_Light to 0?
Grenades already create light in Garry's Mod, it's not the addon doing it.

Why am I getting errors?

It causes a glitch where the light stays after the explosion is finished.

Np figured Id mention it cause I noticed while playing a custom campaign, I am positive it wasn't due to the map cause I noticed it outside of the campaign as well. The fire light addon on the other hand even with Vfire like mentioned by you before seems to work fine however.

i think explosion replacer, HL1 Goldsrc explosion related mod setup from Voidleak might be fighting this mod maybe.

That's an interesting issue, the way that I coded this addon should make it nearly impossible for errors to happen, but I see how this could be possible. If I figure out a way to solve it, I will, thanks! :steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

I do like these but had to get rid of them, upon explosion a permanent lighting effect would be left behind, rather then it only staying temporarily. I was using Goldsrc HL1 explosion replacement related mod.

I am wondering how these mesh with HD Goldsrc HL1 explosions mod that Voidleak made... I may test this in the future.

You can check if the ConVar(s) provided in the description could be causing the issue, I also hope to make it clear that it mainly works for explosion entities which certain things might not use or rely on.

isn't working. no explosions have any light.

You actually can customize the size of the light, you simply need to type Explosion_Light_Range in console, also provide the range value which can be from 0 up to 2147483647.
