A new Equip Slot offering lots of fun and possibilities, and a lovely NPC to trade with.

It's Shoetime !

  • 18 unique footwear to find one's feet for all occasions.

  • To gain access to these beauties, one must first venture in the Swamp...
    and make acquaintance with Morel, the hungry shopkeep !

  • Life can be harsh in the marsh, but with a bit of food (especially Froggle Bunwiches !!),
    Morel will be able to craft fantastic things at his Cobbler Bench for a while.

The more you know...
  • "Alternative Crafting" is a config that changes how or where certain shoes are found
    Try it out every now and then on new worlds to change the flow of the mod
    There are many other configs to tweak each footwear effects

  • All shoes can be repaired using Shoe Shine: a Morel's gift or craftable at your own bench

  • Morel will offer blueprints for the Cobbler Bench when you become besties ~

  • Nobody is born cool. Except of course, people that feeds Cappy his favorite snack.

  • Use Modded Skin API for alternative looks and recolors on some shoes :


  • More skins and more shoes to come in future update... stay tuned !
IMPORTANT :
  • Morel's Shop will automatically retrofit in your map if it is missing,
    as long as there are swampy places available (even modded ones like SW Tidal Pools).

  • Shoetime should be compatible with every mods, unless they are broken by nature.
    If you intend on using Extra Equip Slots, PLEASE use an up to date version !

Yes but when you have changed them you don't know the default. Could be added in the description of the setting. (at least when it's space for it)

Would be nice to have some easier recipe for protection, like clogs that cost 2 log, gives around 20% protection and 200 durability?

@EldVarg Configs are on default unless you change them, and reason why durability steps can be passed by so little is because some shoes have very little durability like Marine Janes. You can check the wiki for values too.

Would be great to see the default value of each setting in the config mod.
Maybe it's not necessary to have that fine setting like 0.25 extra days when something have 10 as default?

I thought this was gonna be a mod about like just 1 or 2 pairs of cosmetic shoes but instantly hit subscribe when I saw that theres actually a lot more than 1 or 2 and that the shoes actually do something and are not fully cosmetic. Could be cool to see a few sets of cosmetic shoes along side the functional ones for creative mode servers/roleplay servers I guess.

@EldVarg One specific version that I tested works and is linked in the description under the IMPORTANT section. EES mods are typically very badly made but this one seems okay.

@Jelly_Sapinho Hi, I've tried to reproduce the crash but no success so far, I tried the various configs for crafting and translations but in all case it sho(es)w the page just fine.

Hi! looks like the game crashes when I try to check what space boots do when I go to scrapbook (been using to know what boots do)
