This mod adds 70+ flavorful news messages to your notification feed which report on specific events that happen in the world, including:

American Civil War (FSA and CSA versions)
Taiping Rebellion & Qingsplosion
Dutch East Indies breakup
North/South German Federation formation
Regime Changes (e.g. Meiji Restoration, Roman Republic, British Republic)
Tanzimat Failure
First country to reach 1 Billion GDP
Suez & Panama Canal Construction
Wonder construction (Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, etc.)
Major Nation formation (Germany, Italy, Yugoslavia etc.)
Major or Great Power goes Bankrupt
Great Powers at War
French content (Algeria, claimant houses, republic/commune)
India content: Sepoy Mutiny, British Raj, BIC breakup

Also includes 60+ Technology notifications documenting the first discovery of various notable technologies.

Compatibility
Does not modify any vanilla files. Instead of editing events to send notifications directly, I use a monthly pulse that checks for various conditions to trigger the feed messages.

After completing the Indian Home Rule JE it sends the Headline for the collapse of British India, despite the Dominion of India still being a British subject.

This is absolutely stupendous! A much needed mod and one I will *always* be using. It just gives the game that extra bit of flavour with some crucial information. Probably as close as we'll get to the newspaper headlines of Vicky 2. Thanks for making this <3

@Rune Trantor there is no more text in reality. Its to imply that there is a whole newspaper article about the event, you just don't get to read it.
