Mount Abilities

Description
This mod adds abilities to all available mounts that had none before. They are not too strong but can give a slight advantage in combat. Also adds 1 new exotic mount, the "White Warg" available via a new form trait.

I wanted to make mounts more unique (especially the Tier 1 mounts) while not making them feel overpowered, so most of the abilities don't cost any action points but can only be used once per combat.

Mod Features
  • All mounts now have an active ability.
  • 1 new Mount "White Warg".
  • 1 new form trait "White Warg Mounts".

Abilities and Changes
Mount
Changes
Pony
Ability - Kick: shoves enemy target 1 hex away, 30% chance to apply slowed. Does not trigger retaliation attacks.
Horse / White Horse
Ability - Kick: shoves enemy target 1 hex away, 60% chance to apply slowed. Does not trigger retaliation attacks.
Warg
Ability - Evade: grants 2 evasion to self. Lasts 3 turns.
White Warg
Ability - Blood Frenzy: consumes a corpse to heal self for 10 temporary hp but goes berserk for 1 turn. Gained +2 frost defence.
Wolf
Ability - Howl: applies weakened to all adjacent enemies.
Boar
Ability - Tusk Gore: 6 damage to 1 target, 60% chance to apply bleeding.
Grizzly Bear
Ability - Roar: 30% chance to apply demoralized to adjacent enemies, 60% chance to apply berserk to self, grants 2 bolstered defence to self. Moved up to Tier 2.
Polar Bear
Ability - Roar. Gained +2 frost defence. Moved up to Tier 2.
Eagle
Ability - Claw Strike: 8 damage to 1 target, 90% chance to apply blinded.
Bone Wyvern
Ability - Blight: 10 damage to 1 target, 90% chance to apply blight. Gained +4 blight defence. Moved up to Tier 3.
Gold Wyvern
Ability - Spirit: 10 damage to 1 target, 90% chance to apply sundered defense.
Fire Wyvern
Ability - Flame: 10 damage to 1 target, 90% chance to apply burning.
Frost Wyvern
Ability - Frost: 10 damage to 1 target, 90% chance to apply frozen.
Thunderbird
Ability - Shock: 10 damage to 1 target, 90% chance to apply electrified.

Compatibility
  • Some small changes to Equipment.rpk and Equipment_EmpiresAndAshes.rpk.

can you please fix the fact that you don't get fire resistance from riding the horse made of lava and then fix the fact that the item and trait don't give the same stuff for the nightmare the logical inconsistency is quite irritating. also frost resit to white wolf because theirs no reason for it not to be consistent with the item or the unit .

Since Dragon Lord Breath Attacks are tied to a cooldown i think it would be safe to let the Wyvern mount's breath attacks be on a cooldown to. Unless i'm missing something here
