  • Physical Spells: With a flick of finger throw stone at enemies, or immobilize and petrify your foes.
  • Acid Spells: Infuse acid onto your weapons, or just melt your enemies into puddles of ooze.
  • Earth Guardian: Mastery over earth elemental magic allows you to summon a powerful earth elemental for your bidding.
  • Terrain Manipulation: Alter the battlefield to your advantage by raising walls or even turning the ground to bog.
  • Power over Stone: Forgot your pickaxe or shovel? No worries, Geomancy got you covered.
  • Legendary Resilence: They may be mages, but Geomancers are quite tough bunch! Rock and Stone!

New Dwarven Building - Geomantic Halls
In Geomantic Halls, young dwarves practices the powers of Geomancy. It's utility is boundless, for many tunnels and caverns of the mountain stronghold's were dig using not only pickaxes and shovels - but also using earth magic.

Geomantic Hall may spawn in Tier 3 dwarven towns.


  • Mods cannot be added or removed during gameplay on specific world.
  • If you decide to disable the mod mid-play, you will not be able to load world that used the mod. (until you enable it again)
  • If you didn't started with geomancy, you can still pick it up by finding and using book of geomancy.
  • Maximum potency is increased by 10 for each new skill added, so new characters will start with 320 maximum potency instead of 310.

Changelog:

Update 1.01:
- Added separate abilities icons (so they shouldn't be overriden by other mods. Changed some icons
- Added ability to write 'Book of Geomancy' at lvl 44 - similar to other vanilla skills
Update 1.02:
- Changed the icon for 'Geomantic Halls', so it doesn't share one with Collegium of Magic
- Defined 'Geomantic Halls' as buildable in top-level player settlement

Similar to all other magic skills - you can build geomantic halls in lvl 4 player city, and spend time working there to increase potency or find (rare) geomancy books from hard and above poi chests.

Hm I cant find a geomancy hall anywhere. Is there an altenrative way to increase potential?

Dwarven Settlements are really bad economy wise, so they will most likely have no resources to build the Geomantic Halls.

Changed Geo Durability from .1 to .2, I removed the weapon requirement from Melt, added additional enhancement slots to certain skills to bring them in line with flora/cryo/pyro lines. Other then that, its a solid line if short ranged line.

Earth elemental plays nice with summoning, leadership and hunting lines. Having a tough time with Geomantic halls among npc settlements.

Good to hear that it works as intended. For the vanilla crashing issues, you can always send a bugsplat report that shows up when the game crashes - it actually sends logs to developer, so he can hammer out these kind of issues.
