Sorry for the late reply! It's not bugged, it's actually intentional. I'm glad that you didn't quit after failing the scenario. I was hoping that it's not too annoying haha :steamhappy:

I love the organic, unoptimised African themed city.
The scenario however is very bugged(?). I have 125.000$ and suddenly I am 75.000$ in the red after the deduction although the deduction should be 100k. At this point I just keep on playing once the scenario fails because the city is so much fun.

Sorry for the late reply! If you make more than a million, you will have to pay 200 000, otherwise it's 100 000

I'm not too sure i understand well, but the money going away by itself is a major issue. If i understand well i have to stay within 150 000 to 1 000 000 not to be stolen a 100 000$?

Love the African themed city you created here! Looks amazing. Great setting for a scenario tbh!

Sorry for the late response. It is definitely very difficult. I have to say, even when I had the solution in mind, I still had to redo a few times to actually complete it. I think the hardest part of the scenario is the beginning when the sims demand for more service and land value, as well as the huge surge in population drop afterwards.

Admittedly, this "mechanics" are on many of my [unlisted] scenarios, and it's precisely the reason why I haven't published anything for the past year, because I just felt unsatisfied with how uninspiring the scenario can be when you lose too many times. However, I have found a new way to fix this issue while still keeping the game more challenging, so expect new releases soon!

good plot, love a good fixer-upper challenge! but... I got quickly put in my place with this one lol. would rate it a hard scenario. I wonder if a 50-75k "payment" would be better, that amount would still empty the bank without having the player "lose" right at the beginning of their play session - I lost three times before resorting to the difficulty tuning mod to lower upkeep costs, because I genuinely wanted to succeed.

Is this even possible to win? I lose all of my money in 2 months.
