Tweaks to Colossus of the South and More

Description
I'm really happy that Paradox decided to release a DLC focused on South America, however I feel that some of the things that were added or were already present in the base game could really benefit from some improvements. Thus, I present you this mod, which makes the following changes:

-Paraguay:
  • Many changes to the Paraguayan War journal entries and events to allow both for the real resulting borders of the war as well as better alternative history borders for a victorious Paraguay. Paraguay now will get more claims through its journal entries and fulfilling certain conditions will lead to the "Paraguay Victorious" and "Paraguay Defeated" events to award extra territory to Paraguay or its enemies.
  • Paraguay now starts the game in control of Alto Paraguay, as well as parts of Corrientes, Parana and Santa Catarina.
-Brazil:
  • Sulista, Paulista, Nordestino and Amazonic states no longer start as Brazilian homelands. They will become Brazilian homelands through the journal entry to integrate them. Only pops and states controlled by Brazil will be affected.
  • Changes to the Ragamuffin War to make it a bit more challenging for Brazil to win (Brazil should still win pretty much every time if there is no player intervention).
  • The River of Coffee journal entry should now be much more achievable (feedback is welcome).
  • New flag and name for a "United Empire of Brazil and Portugal".
  • Emperor Pedro now has the same hair color and the same eye color as Princess Isabel.
-Mexico:
  • Mexico now has journal entries equivalent to the Manifest Destiny ones, as well as an equivalent journal entry for the Oregon Dispute. It is now possible to acquire Mexican homelands in Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana.
-Chile and Argentina:
  • Reworked the 'Conquest of the Desert event' to allow both Araucania and Patagonia to get homelands even if done by the same country. Platinean now takes priority over South Andean (only matters for the United Provinces of South America).
  • Added a decision that triggers an event to redefine the border between Chile and Argentina, allowing for the historical borders (depending on the circumstances) and for the addition of cultural homelands to Patagonia and Araucania.
  • Added a couple of adjecencies in southern Araucania to allow for historical borders and for Araucania to be fully colonized with Frontier Colonization.
  • Chile now starts the game with Wealth Voting.
  • Chile now starts the game with its historical flag and will change to its current flag after becoming a parliamentary republic.
-Colombia:
  • The country will keep the name "New Granada" until it has adopted Colombian as it's primary culture.
  • New flag for Colombia once it has adopted Colombian as its primary culture.
  • Restored the historical leader of Colombia at the start of the game.
-Ecuador:
  • Two new historical flags for republican Ecuador, one is used while Ecuador still has North Andean as its primary culture, the other is used once it has adopted Ecuadorian as its primary culture.
-Formable nations:
  • Annexing your subjects is now an alternative way of completing the Peru-Bolivia journal entry.
  • Dynamic flags and names for Río de la Plata (now Platina by default), Gran Colombia and Peru-Bolivia.
  • New names and flags for the Federation of the Andes.
  • If the Federation of the Andes is formed by the United Provinces of South America (Río de la Plata) it will keep Platinean culture, and Guarani culture will be kept as well.
-Other:
  • Some extra dynamic names for Spain, Portugal and Spanish releasables.
  • Added a decision to allow a colonial power to claim West Sahara under certain conditions.
  • Catalonia now also includes Valencia (split state) when released.

Hopefully I didn't forget anything. Please let me know if you encounter any issues or have any suggestions.

any plan for future updates? wish there was content for a de francia paraguay dystopia, with expansion JEs and adding more native primary cultures as you expand.

Does the mod allow for the unification of Hispanoamerica like the screenshot shows?, I liked the way Paradox managed the Federation of the Andes but feels kinda lame not be able to continue the process of integration and extend it to Central America and Mexico.

oh i see, i misunderstood the mod description, i though you were refering to the ahistorical flag you get when you pass voting rights in vanilla v3, my apologies. still i think it should use the current design but i apreciate the effort of being historically accurate. thanks again.

Thanks duruky! The Chilean flag is indeed different from the current one and the star is angled, but this is historically correct https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Republic
To get the current flag Chile needs to become a parliamentary republic.

hi, great mod, been using it for a while, just one issue i found, it seems the chilean flag is not accurate to its current design, the star is angled? rotated?, its clearly different from the real world flag and it triggers my ocd, other than that its great. thanks.

(i made sure to check using only this mod in my playset so im pretty sure this is the one thats at fault)

So like if Mexico successfully secures the northern border, they should get claims on the plains states.

I also feel like Mexico should get claims on the land needed for these 2 JEs, since the US gets claims from Manifest Destiny.

Hello Sam, thanks for letting me know of the issue!
I've added a decision that triggers the same event as the journal entry and becomes available once you meet the conditions to complete the journal entry. Unfortunately for whatever reason the game bypasses the JE if you already fulfill all the completion requirements once it becomes active.
This fix should work even on an already existing playthrough.

For Mexico, the "Destino Manifiesto" journal entry doesn't seem to appear if you take all the required states before completing "Securing the Northern Border". I conquered all the states for both journal entries in one war (Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana), which completed the first journal entry, but the second one didn't appear.

Lo mejor no seria dejar que Alto Paraguay tenga una reclamacion paraguaya, y tan solo paraguaya?
